Milton Neves foi enfático ao pontuar que o sonho do Cruzeiro em conquistar novamente o Brasileirão deve ser adiado em 2025. Após o fechamento da 17ª rodada do certame, o jornalista avaliou nesta segunda (28), em sua coluna no UOL Esporte, que Flamengo e Palmeiras devem polarizar a disputa pelo título, dado o tropeço da equipe celeste frente ao Ceará.

No entendimento do comentarista, a Raposa pode ter tido um ‘choque de realidade’, após sucumbir frente ao Vozão, em pleno Mineirão, no que se diz respeito à luta pela taça. Com número de jogos acima de todos os outros integrantes do G4, o time mineiro foi ultrapassado pelo Flamengo na classificação da Série A, e agora tem Palmeiras e Bahia no encalço.

“Já na parte de cima, times que pareciam “intrusos” na disputa pelo caneco começam a dar adeus ao sonho de título. E o Cruzeiro, infelizmente, é um bom exemplo disso. Dois tropeços e a queda do Cruzeiro nas chances do Brasileirão

De acordo com dados do Departamento de Matemática da UFMG, a Raposa figura com 13,4% de chances de título na Série A. Antes do empate contra o Corinthians e o revés para o Ceará, as probabilidades do time celeste ficaram próximas da casa dos 40%. Este índice agora quem ostenta é o Flamengo. Novo líder do certame, o rubro-negro figura com 41,9% de chances, com dois tentos a mais e um jogo pendente.

No próximo final de semana, a equipe de Leonardo Jardim tem um desafio direto contra o Botafogo, no Rio de Janeiro, em choque valendo briga no G6, que pode ser uma remontada ou complicar ainda mais a vida da equipe celeste.

Nesta disputa, Sport e Juventude aparecem como os concorrentes mais ameaçados, amargando 94,1% e 69,1% de riscos, respectivamente.
