Após o fechamento da 17ª rodada do certame, o jornalista avaliou nesta segunda (28), em sua coluna no UOL Esporte, que Flamengo e Palmeiras devem polarizar a disputa pelo título, dado o tropeço da equipe celeste frente ao Ceará.
No entendimento do comentarista, a Raposa pode ter tido um ‘choque de realidade’, após sucumbir frente ao Vozão, em pleno Mineirão, no que se diz respeito à luta pela taça. Com número de jogos acima de todos os outros integrantes do G4, o time mineiro foi ultrapassado pelo Flamengo na classificação da Série A, e agora tem Palmeiras e Bahia no encalço.
