Um dia após a polêmica expulsão de Léo Jardim, acusado de retardar o reinício da partida (a popular “cera”) no empate em 1 a 1 contra o Internacional, o Vasco informou que o atleta tem contusão na região esquerda das costas. O goleiro levou o segundo cartão amarelo do árbitro Flávio Rodrigues de Souza no fim da partida, quando reclamava de dores na região e pedia atendimento.
Em nota, o cruz-maltino explicou que Léo passou por ressonância magnética, que apontou “alterações contusionais recentes na junção costocondral do último arco costal esquerdo, com hematomas musculares profundos associados”. Leia mais informações na nota completa abaixo.

Segundo o clube, o goleiro está em tratamento intensivo no Departamento de Saúde e Performance (DESP). Suspenso no Brasileirão, Jardim seria titular no duelo com o CSA, pela Copa do Brasil, no meio da semana. Agora, virou dúvida para a partida.

O Vasco da Gama informa que o goleiro Léo Jardim foi submetido a exame de ressonância magnética, que identificou alterações contusionais recentes na junção costocondral do último arco costal esquerdo, com hematomas musculares profundos associados, medindo aproximadamente 3,1 x 2,3 cm.
O atleta encontra-se em tratamento intensivo com o Departamento de Saúde e Performance (DESP).
A divulgação do laudo foi autorizada pelo atleta e pelo médico responsável pelo exame.

Léo Jardim foi expulso por, segundo o árbitro da partida, Flavio Rodrigues de Souza, retardar o reinício da mesma. O goleiro alegou dores na região esquerda do tronco durante e após duas substituições realizadas pelo Vasco, em paralisação iniciada por volta dos 38 minutos do segundo tempo. Na súmula, o árbitro diz que o goleiro “ficou caído durante todo o procedimento de substituições, tendo tempo suficiente para ser atendido, não o fazendo”. Leia o relato:

Retardar o reinício do jogo – Após ser advertido anteriormente por retardar o reinício de jogo, expulsei com segundo cartão amarelo o Sr. Leonardo Cesar Jardim, nº1 da equipe do Vasco da Gama, por de maneira desrespeitosa retardar o reinício de jogo da sua equipe caindo ao solo sem motivo aparente. Mesmo sendo solicitado tanto por mim quanto pelo assistente n 1, negou-se a levantar. Ressalto ainda que o mesmo ficou caído durante todo o procedimento de substituições, tendo tempo suficiente para ser atendido, não o fazendo.
O Vasco vencia a partida por 1 a 0, mas acabou levando o empate pouco depois de ficar com um a menos. Em nota publicada logo após a partida, o clube pediu o afastamento do árbitro pelo que denominou como “atuação desastrosa”. A diretoria cruz-maltina prometeu comparecer nesta segunda-feira à CBF para representação oficial.
Léo Jardim será desfalque do cruz-maltino contra o Mirassol, no próximo sábado, pela 18ª rodada do Brasileirão. Daniel Fuzato, que o substituiu contra o time gaúcho, deve ser o titular.
