Colts sign T Bernhard Raimann to a four-year extension
The Indianapolis Colts signed left tackle Bernhard Raimann to a four-year, $100 million extension per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

Raimann has been one of the league’s best offensive tackles since the Colts made him a third-round pick out of Central Michigan back in 2022. He earned a PFF grade of 85.1 last season, eighth among 81 qualifying tackles in the NFL and allowed just 20 pressures in 471 pass-blocking snaps.
The Colts’ offensive line places fifth in PFF’s rankings heading into the 2025 season.
Giants WR Malik Nabers leaves practice with an apparent injury
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers left Tuesday’s practice with an apparent shoulder injury, per ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

According to Raanan, Nabers was injured on a run play where he got knocked to the ground. He was seen grabbing his shoulder as he walked off the field, per Raanan. The Giants will likely take every precaution with their star wide receiver, but the injury doesn’t appear too serious, according to Raanan.
Nabers enjoyed an excellent rookie season, despite inconsistent quarterback play. He finished in the top seven in receptions (109) and receiving yards last year (1,204), averaging an impressive 2.17 yards per route run as a rookie. His 86.7 PFF overall grade for the season ranked eighth out of 133 qualifying wide receivers.

Jordan Mason received the first snap of the Minnesota Vikings’ full-pads practice with the starters, according to ESPN’s Kevin Seifert.

The news is noteworthy but not particularly surprising, given that the team traded for Mason in March and then signed him to a two-year, $7 million fully guaranteed deal that could reach up to $12 million. Seifert believes that Mason and former Pro Bowler Aaron Jones will have a near 50-50 split in terms of playing time this season.
Last year, both Jones (76.5 PFF rushing grade) and Mason (76.1) ranked among the top 20 running backs in the league in PFF rushing grade. Jones has shown the ability to be a more dangerous threat through the air, as evidenced by his 70.6 PFF receiving grade last year and nearly 2,500 career receiving yards and 20 touchdowns.
The Vikings have one of the most improved offensive lines in the NFL this season, with three new starters along the interior. This bodes well for Jones and Mason, and perhaps the split workloads can help keep both players fresh throughout the season.
Falcons WR Darnell Mooney uncertain for regular season opener
Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said wide receiver Darnell Mooney will be re-evaluated in a few weeks as he recovers from a shoulder injury.

Mooney was hurt last week in practice diving for a pass on the sideline, an injury that will sideline him most, if not all, of training camp. The Falcons signed veteran wideout D.J. Chark the next day.
Mooney had a strong first season with the Falcons in 2024, catching 64 of his 100 targets for 992 yards and five touchdowns. His 74.0 PFF overall grade ranked 36th out of 133 qualifying receivers, marking a strong bounce-back season after his career-low 55.2 PFF overall grade in 2023.
Should Mooney miss time in the regular season, tight end Kyle Pitts may be utilized more as a wide receiver early on. Last week, it was reported that he was working more with wide receivers than the tight ends in camp.
