Depois de rumar ao Al-Nassr

João Félix voltou a estar nas bocas do mundo nos últimos dias como consequência da transferência para a Arábia Saudita e, mais concretamente, para o Al-Nassr, oficializada nesta terça-feira. Não só porque a curiosidade em torno do seu futuro era muita, mas também porque o internacional português surpreendeu tudo e todos ao deixar ao futebol europeu com apenas 25 anos. Goste-se mais ou menos da decisão tomada pelo avançado, a verdade é que Félix voltou a ser transferido por uma verba considerável e a sua relevância no mercado de transferências continua a aumentar: para tirá-lo do Chelsea, o Al-Nassr teve de pagar 30 milhões de euros, sendo que o negócio ainda pode chegar – ou até passar, segundo algumas fontes – a barreira dos 50 milhões de euros, consoante o cumprimento de objetivos.
No total, Félix já fez movimentar 225,7 milhões de euros em transferências, o que faz do jogador luso o quarto mais caro da história do futebol, tal como se pode verificar na imagem disponibilizada abaixo. Tudo começou, recorde-se, com uma transferência recorde do Benfica para o Atlético de Madrid, no verão de 2019, que se consumou por uns impressionantes 127,2 milhões de euros, a maior que o antigo futebolista encarnado já protagonizou. Seguiu-se um empréstimo ao Chelsea, em 2023, no valor de 11 milhões de euros, antes da transferência em definitivo para os blues no verão do ano passado, por 52 milhões de euros. Posteriormente, o AC Milan pagou 5,5 milhões de euros para o ter na qualidade de emprestado na segunda metade de 2024/25, alguns meses antes da mudança para a Arábia Saudita pelos já referidos 30 milhões de euros.
Apenas três jogadores já fizeram os diferentes clubes por onde passaram pagar mais pelos seus passes do que Félix. Um deles é Cristiano Ronaldo que, curiosamente, é agora colega de equipa de Félix no Al-Nassr. Desde que deixou o Sporting para assinar pelo Manchester United, no verão de 2003, até aos dias de hoje, CR7 já fez movimentar 247 milhões de euros em transferências. Um valor que fica, ainda assim, aquém dos 369,2 milhões de euros já investidos em Romelu Lukaku.
No primeiro lugar desta lista, contudo, está outro nome: o de Neymar. O brasileiro, protagonista da maior transferência de sempre no futebol – quando, em 2017, o PSG pagou 222 milhões de euros ao Barcelona pela sua contratação -, já fez movimentar 400 milhões de euros com as mudanças que clube que realizou ao longo dos anos, num valor recorde na história deste desporto.
