All 30 teams in the majors are in action during the Wednesday MLB schedule, including an American League East showdown between the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays. They split the first two games of their four-game series, and the Yankees are -140 favorites in the Wednesday MLB odds. Tampa Bay has won two of its last three games, and SportsLine’s model has identified value on the Rays as +120 underdogs on Wednesday. The model is also backing the Marlins to upset the Cardinals at +125 odds in a game that begins at 7:45 p.m. ET.

Miami pulled off a 5-0 upset as a +130 underdog on Tuesday, holding St. Louis to just four hits in that game. The Marlins are 15-5 in their last 20 road games, and they are 9-4 in their past 13 games overall. • Reds money line vs. Dodgers (+145)
  • Marlins money line vs. Cardinals (+125)
  • Combine these picks for a shot at a +1113 payout (odds subject to change)

Rays money line vs. Yankees (+120)

Tampa Bay took two out of three games on the road against New York in May, and it opened this week’s series with a 4-2 win on Monday. Rays third baseman Junior Caminero homered for the 27th time this season in that game, giving his team a 2-0 lead in the first inning. The Rays held a 3-0 lead on Tuesday before eventually losing in a 7-5 final. Veteran starting pitcher Zack Littell is 8-8 with a 3.72 ERA for the Rays, while Yankees rookie Will Warren is 6-5 with a 4.82 ERA. The model has Tampa Bay winning in almost 50% of simulations, despite being a sizable underdog.

Reds money line vs. Dodgers (+145)

Cincinnati has lost the first two games of the series, but it was on a four-game winning streak prior to those losses. The Reds held a 4-2 lead entering the seventh inning on Tuesday before Los Angeles ultimately drove in the game-winning run in the ninth inning. Cincinnati is facing Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani, but he is not expected to pitch more than four innings. Sportsbooks are making Los Angeles too large of a favorite on Wednesday, as the Reds are winning in 50% of the model’s simulations to provide clear value at this price.

Marlins money line vs. Cardinals (+125)

St. Louis has been struggling throughout July, going 8-15 through its first 23 games. The Cardinals lost to the Marlins on Tuesday, marking their third loss in their last four outings. Miami racked up 12 hits while holding St. Louis to just four, as the Marlins improved to 5-2 in their last seven contests. They are facing Cardinals starting pitcher Miles Mikolas, who has allowed at least five earned runs in three of his past five starts. SportsLine’s model has Miami winning in 46% of simulations, creating value on the money line.
