Zwei Tage nach ihrem schweren Unglück geht die Suche nach der früheren Biathlon-Königin weiter.
Dahlmeier und ihre Seilpartnerin Marina Krauss waren im pakistanischen Karakorum-Gebirge auf dem Weg zum Laila Peak (6096 Meter). Auf 5700 Metern wurde Dahlmeier von einem Steinschlag getroffen.
Jetzt gibt es offenbar neue Details zu dem Unglück.
Wie das pakistanische Portal „Dawn.com“ meldet, soll es Dahlmeier gelungen sein, noch nach dem Unglück mit Marina Krauss zu kommunizieren. Doch Krauss sei es nicht möglich gewesen, zu ihrer verunglückten Seilpartnerin zu klettern. Sie befand sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt unterhalb von Dahlmeier an dem Berg.
[–>Laut dem Bericht konnte Krauss in der Folge erfolgreich zum Basislager absteigen, sie sei bei guter Gesundheit, heißt es weiter.
An der anschließenden Rettungsaktion nahmen umgehend Hubschrauber der pakistanischen Armee und zahlreiche Helfer teil. Doch wegen des schlechten Wetters war es den Helikoptern bislang nicht möglich, an der Unfallstelle zu landen.
Wie „Dawn.com“ weiter meldet, retteten pakistanische Armeehubschrauber fast zeitgleich zwei amerikanische Bergsteiger aus dem Basislager Gasherbrum-I sowie einen deutschen und einen weiteren amerikanischen Bergsteiger vom Latok-Gipfel.
