Felipe Melo rechaça status de Fagner, do Cruzeiro, ao abordar estilo polêmico: “Eu não encaro como vilão

Felipe Melo, ao falar do comportamento de Fagner, não quis atrelar o posto de “vilão” ao lateral-direito do Cruzeiro. Segundo o ex-jogador, a entrada em Éderson, durante Corinthians x Flamengo, afetou a imagem do camisa 23. Como o lance em 2016 foi atrelado ao fim da carreira do ex-jogador, os lances mais fortes que vieram posteriormente acabaram criando um rótulo dentro do futebol brasileiro.

Na visão de Felipe Melo, apesar do impacto causado em Éderson, Fagner não quis machucar o adversário. Além disso, levando em conta os duelos no futebol brasileiro em que enfrentou o defensor, o comentarista considera que nunca houve uma postura desleal.

“Eu acho que as pessoas têm conceitos diferentes do Fagner. Ele é esse vilão todo no futebol, pela maneira que é tratado? Para vocês, o Fagner é esse vilão todo?”, questionou Rizek, no “Seleção SporTV”. “As pessoas falam isso aí pela entrada que aconteceu com o Ederson, que acabou com a carreira do atleta. Eu joguei muitas vezes contra ele e não acho que é um vilão. Eu não acho que ele deu uma entrada proposital para quebrar o jogador do Flamengo.”, respondeu Felipe Melo.

Atuando nas posições de volante e zagueiro, Felipe Melo precisava adotar uma conduta ríspida em campo. Porém, ao contrário de Fagner, o ex-jogador de Palmeiras e Fluminense ressaltou que nunca contribuiu para uma lesão mais grave de um colega de profissão. Mesmo assim, a opinião sobre o jogador do Cruzeiro foi mantida.

“Obviamente, ele entra forte nas jogadas. Eu sou meio suspeito de falar porque eu também fazia isso. Fazia parte da minha profissão, pela minha força, de entrar forte nas jogadas. A diferença é que eu nunca machuquei nenhum atleta. Eu nunca tirei um atleta de campo. Infelizmente, ele teve esse acidente. As pessoas colocam como vilão. Eu não encaro como vilão.”, opinou.

Rizek destaca polêmica em Cruzeiro x CRB

Atingido fortemente por William Pottker, Fagner revelou que o atacante gostaria que o lance tivesse resultado em uma perna quebrada. Reagindo à polêmica, Rizek indicou um recado envolvendo o hábito de cometer faltas duras e, consequentemente, colocar em risco a integridade física dos rivais.

“Ele é um jogador que joga duro, isso é evidente. Acho que, como ele é baixinho, a maneira dele se proteger é entrar duro. Mas o Pottker, ao justificar a entrada dele, faz um post nas redes sociais com o lance do Fagner com o Ederson para dizer que ele está colhendo o que plantou […] Para mim, o Pottker não quis quebrar o Fagner, quis dar um recado. Ele entrou muito duro.”, opinou Rizek.
