Raiders sign T Kolton Miller to a three-year, $66 million contract extension
The Las Vegas Raiders signed left tackle Kolton Miller to a three-year, $66 million contract extension, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

The deal, which includes $42.5 million guaranteed, locks up Miller, who was set to enter the final year of his contract in 2025. He did not participate in voluntary offseason workouts while he was seeking an extension.
Miller’s 80.6 PFF overall grade in 2024 ranked 13th out of 81 qualifying tackles. The 2018 first-round pick out of UCLA has been one of the best tackles in the league over the past few years, ranking among the top 13 at his position each year since 2021, including two years as a top-six tackle (2021 and 2022).

The Seattle Seahawks released Fant just 11 days ago. He met with the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins in addition to the Bengals prior to Thursday’s announcement. He will join a stacked Cincinnati offense and compete with Mike Gesicki for the starting tight end job.
Fant appeared in 14 games last year for the Seahawks, catching 48 of 62 targets for 500 yards. His 70.2 PFF receiving grade in 2024 ranked 20th out of 53 qualifying tight ends.

Seattle Seahawks left tackle Charles Cross underwent surgery to repair a dislocated finger, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The injury didn’t prevent Cross from practicing, but he took the opportunity to fix the issue with the regular-season opener still five weeks away. The expectation is that Cross will be ready to go when Seattle hosts the San Francisco 49ers on September 7.
Cross was drafted ninth overall in the 2022 NFL Draft and has steadily improved his PFF overall grade each season, from 63.1 as a rookie to 82.5 last season, good for ninth best among 81 qualifying tackles. He ranked among the top 15 tackles in both PFF pass-blocking grade (81.3) and PFF run-blocking grade (77.9).

The Las Vegas Raiders and wide receiver Jakobi Meyers are “in talks” about a potential contract extension, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Meyers is the clear No. 2 option in the passing game behind star tight end Brock Bowers. The former undrafted free agent has been one of the more underrated wide receivers in the NFL over the past few years, recording at least 67 receptions and 804 yards in each of the past four seasons.
Meyers is coming off the most productive season of his career, finishing 16th among wideouts in receptions (87) and 20th in receiving yards (1,027). He did not drop a single pass in 2024, and his 87 receptions without a drop were the most for any player in the NFL.
