O Bahia venceu o Retrô nesta quarta-feira (30) pela Copa do Brasil com um placar de 3 a 2 e construiu vantagem para o jogo da volta. No entanto, Rogério Ceni teve uma má notícia, que foi a lesão de Erick Pulga nos minutos finais. Além disso, avaliou a situação de Rodrigo Nestor no clube, atleta emprestado pelo São Paulo.

Um dos principais jogadores do Bahia em 2025, na campanha de 4º colocado do Brasileirão, é o atacante Erick Pulga. Com 8 gols e 8 assistências em 40 jogos, o atacante se firmou na ponta esquerda do Esquadrão. Porém, no fim da partida contra o Retrô saiu reclamando de dores e está lesionado.
“Sobre a lesão, não sei qual é o grau. Amanhã vamos fazer exames, na quinta ou na sexta-feira devemos saber quanto tempo ele vai ficar fora. Aí temos dois dias para encontrar uma solução. Hoje eu não sei. É a nossa busca, não temos um jogador com as características do Pulga. O mais perto seria o Ruan Pablo, que está lesionado. Vamos buscar uma solução, uma improvisação de algum atleta que gosta de jogar na direita, podemos mudar o sistema”, disse Rogério Ceni.
Assim, Rogério Ceni revelou que não conta com Erick Pulga para o jogo contra o Sport, neste sábado (2), e deve improvisar na posição. Assim, Kayky e Michel Araújo saem na frente por uma vaga no time em Recife.

“Ele ajudou bastante o Nico Acevedo, é a principal característica dele. Ele também tem o chute de fora da área, hoje exigiu boas defesas do goleiro. Tem tentado melhorar, tem trabalhado para isso. Essa semana trabalhou em um dia de folga. Acho que ele ainda pode melhorar, que ainda não encontrou o melhor dele. Mas ele está trabalhando, é o primeiro passo”, avaliou Ceni.
Rodrigo Nestor está emprestado pelo São Paulo ao Bahia até o fim deste ano, mas com uma cláusula de opção de compra em torno de R$ 30 milhões. Porém, o jogador é considerado reserva do Esquadrão de Aço, atuando mais nas partidas que Rogério Ceni resolve poupar o elenco. São 29 partidas, 3 gols e 3 assistências até o momento, com uma média de 49 minutos por jogo.
