Filipe Luís recebeu uma enxurrada de críticas após a derrota do Flamengo para o Atlético-MG, por 1 a 0, nesta quinta (31), pelo confronto de ida das oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil. Com gol de Cuello, após falha bisonha do zagueiro Léo Pereira, o time comandado por Cuca consegue uma vantagem importante no duelo que será decidido já na próxima semana, em Belo Horizonte.
Na avaliação de muitos flamenguistas, o técnico errou ao insistir com Gonzalo Plata até a parte final da partida, uma vez que o equatoriano poderia ter sido substituído um pouco antes. O jogador foi sacado aos 33 minutos do segundo tempo para a entrada de Saúl Ñíguez, que teve uma estreia tímida pela equipe carioca.
Pedro, escalado entre os titulares, também não contribuiu muito no setor ofensivo do Flamengo. A ausência de Arrascaeta, poupado por conta do desgaste físico, foi considerada essencial para a pouca criação das jogadas.

Com a derrota em casa para o Atlético-MG, o Flamengo precisará agora ao menos de uma vitória simples na Arena MRV, dia 6, às 19h (de Brasília). Se vencer por dois gols de diferença, o Rubro-Negro avança para a próxima fase da competição nacional. Em contrapartida, o Galo necessita apenas de um empate para eliminar o rival carioca.
Na entrevista coletiva, Cuca comemorou o resultado, mas, ao mesmo tempo, lembrou da qualidade do adversário que agora está ainda mais reforçado. Para ele, concentração será essencial para conseguir a vaga nas quartas da Copa do Brasil.
“Uma bola que você sai jogando errado, ou acontece alguma coisa, já fica 1 a 1 e acabou a vantagem. Temos que saber jogar um mata-mata, mas o principal de tudo é esse espírito. Esse espírito que o time teve hoje. Se a gente tiver esse espírito, a gente vai colher coisas boas até o final do ano”, avisou Cuca.

De volta ao Brasileirão, o Flamengo agora se prepara para o confronto diante do Ceará, no domingo (3), às 18h30 (de Brasília), na Arena Castelão, pela 18ª rodada. Líder isolado com 36 pontos, o Rubro-Negro precisa vencer para se manter na ponta da tabela.
