Dieses Tackle ging mächtig daneben …
Am Donnerstagabend trafen die beiden Erzrivalen Arsenal und Tottenham in einem Testspiel in Hongkong aufeinander (0:1). Mit von der Partie: DFB-Star Kai Havertz (26). Dabei sah der Deutsche in einer Situation in der ersten Hälfte ziemlich alt aus.

Tottenham-Star Cristian Romero hatte im eigenen Strafraum den Ball am Fuß und wurde von Havertz bedrängt. Der Arsenal-Star setzte zur Grätsche an, doch Romero tunnelte ihn und zog souverän vorbei. Havertz rutschte danach unglücklich in Spurs-Verteidiger Djed Spence, der zu diesem Zeitpunkt hinter Romero stand. Dabei traf er ihn mit voller Wucht am Knie.
Spence blieb kurz am Boden, rappelte sich dann aber wieder auf und konnte weiterspielen.
In den sozialen Medien sorgte der Havertz-Fehltritt für Gelächter. Ein User fragte sich: „Was war das denn?“ Ein anderer ist sich sicher: „Wenn das ein Premier-League-Spiel gewesen wäre, hätte er ganz sicher die Rote Karte gesehen.“

Havertz kehrte erst im Mai für die letzten beiden Spiele der abgelaufenen Saison zurück, nachdem er wegen einer Oberschenkelverletzung drei Monate lang hatte pausieren müssen. Jetzt muss er sich gegen die Konkurrenz in der Arsenal-Offensive behaupten.
Und die hat es in sich. In der 77. Minute war bei der Testspiel-Pleite Schluss für Havertz, für ihn kam Super-Neuzugang Viktor Gyökeres (27). Der Schwede ist nach einem langen Hin und Her für 63,5 Millionen Euro Ablöse plus 10 Millionen an Boni von Sporting Lissabon nach London gewechselt. Für die Portugiesen hat er in der vergangenen Saison 54 Tore in 52 Pflichtspielen erzielt.
Am nächsten Mittwoch steht für die „Gunners“ noch ein Testspiel gegen Villareal an, bevor es dann am 17. August richtig ernst wird. Zum Auftakt der neuen Premier-League-Saison treffen Havertz & Co. auf Manchester United.
