Travis is a great and explosive wide receiver who can catch some deep balls and run it all the way to the end zone. And he’s also a very good cornerback who can locked down defender, knock down passes and even make some great interceptions. He’s a unicorn, and the NFL will be exciting with Hunter on it.

The Jacksonville Jaguars‘ 2025 training camp brought a major highlight when wide receiver Travis Hunter leaped into the corner of the end zone for a spectacular touchdown catch during red-zone drills. It reminded the league that they have a great athlete ready to take it by storm.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence delivered the perfectly timed pass, continuing to show confidence and control in his first camp under head coach Liam Coen’s offensive system. Hunter‘s grab showed the athleticism and quickness that made him the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 draft.
Hunter hit the ground hard after the catch, giving fans a brief scare, but he quickly popped back up with no signs of injury. The play not only fired up the sideline but also reinforced the growing chemistry between Lawrence and his new dynamic weapon, leaving Jaguars fans excited about what’s to come this season.

Travis Hunter, who will play extensively on both offense and defense during the regular season, practiced exclusively on offense Sunday after working on both sides of the ball in Friday’s stadium scrimmage. The rookie sensation caught several passes Sunday, including the corner-of-the-end zone touchdown in red-zone work.
Hunter, who has worked full time on offense in six practices and full time on defense in two practices, participated in 20 snaps Sunday. Wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.., after catching two touchdown passes in Friday’s scrimmage, caught several passes from Lawrence Sunday – including a touchdown in red-zone work.
The Jaguars focused heavily on red-zone work Sunday, a day that was comparatively light in terms of contact. This came two days after an extensive, physical stadium scrimmage Friday night.
