Gavi lidera otro baile en el estreno de Rashford

El Barcelona puso este lunes punto y final a su exitosa gira de pretemporada. Y lo de exitosa lo digo no tanto porque ganó los tres encuentros, contra rivales muy inferiores, sino porque confirmó que tiene una plantilla de calidad, bien avenida, conectada, polivalente y ambiciosa en la que los jóvenes están llamados a ser importantes, y los fichajes. Este Barça tiene una gran pinta.

Los de Flick se midieron a un estéril Daegu FC y, como en los dos anteriores encuentros, ganó sin oposición. Lamine no marcó pero no sólo volvió a ser diferencial sino que confirmó que es un ídolo en el lejano continente. El goleador de la jornada fue Gavi: firmó un doblete gracias a su gen ganador y a su, muchas veces cuestionada, calidad y cualidades ofensivas. El andaluz no es sólo pulmón y ambición, también toque y gol. Los jóvenes Dro, Toni Fernández y Jofre también fueron protagonistas.  

Flick, como en los cruces contra el Vissek Kobe y el FC Seoul, apostó por dos bloques en cada mitad. En el primero, con más visos de ser el once inicial durante la temporada, se mantuvo Joan García bajo palos y sorprendió la titularidad del joven Dro, de 17 años, en la mediapunta. La presencia del gallego es una muestra más de la determinación del alemán de no mirar el DNI y sí las aptitudes y esfuerzo de sus futbolistas. Me dirán que estamos en pretemporada y que son solo pruebas y era un amistoso, vaaaaaaaale, se lo acepto, pero consiéntanme ustedes también a mí que el preparador tenía otras opciones en el banquillo y se decantó por el canterano. Valiente, es. Y el mensaje enviado a la plantilla tampoco puede ser más claro: seguirá sin temblarse el pulso, como demostró el curso pasado, a la hora de dar minutos a los jugadores de La Masia.

Paso a la cantera

Dro se mostró participativo, activo y desenvuelto. Se atrevió a chutar a puerta y conectó y se asoció bien con sus compañeros, especialmente con Lamine Yamal, quien, como casi siempre, fue uno de los jugadores más creativos, descarados y ofensivos del equipo culé. Enlazó varios recortes en el minuto 8 antes de un disparo a puerta que supuso un ohhhhhh generalizado de la agradecida grada coreana. Por lo visto en la gira, tiene a toda Asia a sus pies. El estadio, no obstante, estaba bastante vacío. Sorprendió ver tanto cemento. 

El ritmo inicial del encuentro no fue, de todas formas, precisamente trepidante. El primer cuarto de hora fue, de hecho, casi insufrible. El Daegu se plantó bien y formó casi con dos líneas de cinco. No era fácil para los azulgranas atravesar las barreras coreanas. Pero la calidad y la verticalidad culés tuvieron premio en el minuto 20, justo después de un susto para el Barça tras una acción en la que Joan García midió mal: no estamos acostumbrados a este tipo de errores en el meta catalán. El autor del gol fue Gavi, con un disparo con la izquierda desde fuera del área, tras asistencia de ¿quién? pues de Lamine Yamal. El tanto dejó noqueado al equipo local y sólo ocho después Lewandowski, después de un gran centro de Gerard Martín, superó de nuevo a Seunghoo. Hasta aquí resistió el Daegu FC, colista de su liga. Desapareció del partido. Se esfumó.

La superioridad culé era evidente, tanto, que los de Flick también se relajaron. Bueno, Lamine Yamal siguió buscando el gol. El canterano no entiende de desconexiones, para alegría de los aficionados coreanos que estaba en el estadio y de los que vimos el partido. Nos alegró el visionado y evitó que tuviéramos cabezadas antes de comer. Tampoco bajó el nivel Gavi, al que su gen ganador no da descanso. El andaluz, tras una gran asistencia de Koundé, marcó su segundo tanto del día, el tercero de su gira y del partido en Daegu. ¡En qué gran momento está el internacional! Si alguien tenía alguna duda de su recuperación total, en la gira lo ha confirmado. 

En la segunda mitad, Flick cambió todo el equipo. No salió, como estaba previsto, Ferran Torres, por molestias musculares. La ausencia del valenciano provocó que Rashford jugara de delantero centro y que las bandas fueran para Roony y el joven Toni Fernández. El canterano, que jugó a pierna cambiada y se movió por la izquierda, no sólo marcó tras una buena asistencia de Olmo sino que también estuvo dinámico y participativo. Esta hornada de jóvenes no tiene miedo, y si lo tiene lo afronta y supera con una valentía asombrosa. Bien por ellos. Me quito el sombrero.

Rashford confirmó que su adaptación ha sido meteórica. Rindió muy bien de delantero centro. Más allá del gol, firmó la manita tras pase de Eric García, se fue bien de todos los defensas, se movió bien por dentro, buscó la meta rival con disparos lejanos y cercanos, se entendió con sus compañeros… Se asoció bien con Roony, que también tuvo intervenciones destacadas. Los refuerzos suman y complicarán la vida a Flick para hacer la alineación. ¡Bendito problema!

Lesión de Cubarsí

El único ‘pero’ del partido fue la lesión del central gerundense. El defensa abandonó el terreno de juego a falta de cinco minutos para el final por un golpe en la rodilla izquierda. La cara de Flick era un poema al ver en el suelo a su joven zaguero. No parecía, no obstante, grave. Tenemos que esperar un poco para saber el alcance. 

Por cierto, ya sé que la crónica es larga pero déjenme hacer un último apunte. Bajo palos arrancó Szczesny en la segunda mitad, pero Flick le dio el último cuarto de hora a Kochen. El único meta que no ha jugado en la gira es Iñaki Peña. Es claramente transferible, pero, además, a día de hoy, es el único inscrito en LaLiga
