A Copa do Brasil terá neste meio de semana os jogos de volta das oitavas de final e, na opinião do ex-jogador Muller, apesar de estarem em desvantagem por causa de derrotas contra Atlético-MG e Corinthians, respectivamente, Flamengo e Palmeiras são os grandes favoritos a levantarem o troféu de campeão da competição deste ano.
Em participação no programa “Mesa Redonda”, da TV Gazeta, no último domingo (3), o comentarista esportivo não ficou em cima do muro ao responder uma pergunta e avaliar que o Rubro-Negro carioca e o Verdão são os dois times mais preparados para ficarem com o título deste ano na competição nacional no sistema mata-mata.
“(O Palmeiras) é um dos favoritos, junto com o Flamengo“, disse Muller, ao responder se o time dirigido por Abel Ferreira se tornaria favorito à conquista da Copa do Brasil se eliminar o Corinthians nesta quarta-feira (6), às 21h30 (horário de Brasília), no Allianz Parque. Vale destacar que o time alviverde precisa vencer por dois ou mais gols para se classificar às quartas.
Questionado em seguida, se o Corinthians se tornaria favorito ao título se eliminar o Verdão nas oitavas, Muller descartou. “O Cruzeiro é mais time que o Corinthians, o Flamengo nem se fala. O Corinthians no mata-mata contra esses times, não passa!”, cravou o tetra-campeão do mundo com a seleção brasileira em 1994.
Arrascaeta pode atuar no Atlético-MG x Flamengo
O meio-campista Arrascaeta, autor do gol do Flamengo no empate diante do Ceará ontem, pela 18ª rodada do Brasileirão, passou por exames médicos nesta segunda-feira (4) e não teve constatada lesão na coxa esquerda. O camisa 10 foi substituído na Arena Castelão por causa de um incômodo no local e gerava preocupação.
Assim, o meia fica à disposição para o técnico Filipe Luís no duelo com o Atlético-MG, nesta quarta-feira (6), às 19h (de Brasília), na Arena MRV. Como foi derrotado na partida de ida por 1 a 0, no Maracanã, agora o Flamengo precisa vencer por dois gols de diferença para tentar a classificação direta – vitória simples leva a decisão para os pênaltis.
Daronco vai apitar Palmeiras x Corinthians
A CBF definiu na tarde desta segunda-feira (4) a arbitragem para o clássico entre Palmeiras e Corinthians marcado para a quarta-feira, às 21h30, no Allianz Parque. O designado para apitar o clássico paulista foi o experiente Anderson Daronco, de 44 anos – o que gerou muita reclamação dos torcedores do time alviverde. Já o VAR será comandado por Caio Max Augusto Vieira.
Vale destacar que o jogo de ida, na Neo Química Arena, vencido pelo Timão por 1 a 0, ficou marcado por muitas críticas e reclamações do Palmeiras contra o árbitro Wilton Pereira Sampaio, que anulou um gol alviverde, por impedimento apontado pelo VAR, e não puniu os atletas do Corinthians por excesso de faltas, algumas delas violentas.
