Der BVB arbeitet an einem Transfer für den Sturm!
Hinter dem Dortmunder Top-Torjäger Serhou Guirassy (29) sowie den variabel einsetzbaren Offensivspielern Karim Adeyemi (23) und Maximilian Beier (22) zeigt sich eine gewisse Lücke im Angriff der Schwarz-Gelben. Zwar kehrte Leihspieler Sebastien Haller (31) zurück und steht grundsätzlich ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Doch seine lediglich 4 Treffer in 16 Eredivisie-Partien der vergangenen Saison bei Utrecht lassen kaum darauf hoffen, dass er eine echte Alternative zu Guirassy darstellen kann.
Deshalb bastelt die sportliche Führung des BVB um Sportdirektor Sebastian Kehl (45) und Geschäftsführer Lars Ricken (49) intensiv daran, die Offensive durch einen weiteren Stürmer zu verstärken.

Wie der belgische Reporter Sacha Tavolieri berichtet, bietet Dortmund für Wolverhampton-Stürmer Fábio Silva (23). Der BVB habe ihm einen 5-Jahres-Vertrag angeboten. Das Interesse an dem Portugiesen ist groß. Weiter heißt es, diese Woche werde ein Treffen zwischen Wolverhampton und dem Spieler stattfinden, um den Wechsel zum BVB voranzutreiben.
Der Traum des Angreifers soll eigentlich ein Wechsel in die Serie A gewesen sein. Die AS Rom habe Interesse an ihm, ein konkretes Angebot liege aber nicht vor.

Silva war 2020 für 40 Mio. Euro von Porto zu Wolverhampton gewechselt. Der Nationalspieler (1 Einsatz) konnte die hohen Erwartungen jedoch nicht erfüllen. In 72 Spielen erzielte er nur 5 Tore für den Premier-League-Klub.
Mehrmals wurde Silva seit 2022 verliehen, u.a. an RSC Anderlecht, PSV Eindhoven, Glasgow Rangers und zuletzt an den spanischen Klub UD Las Palmas. Dort schoss er 10 Tore in 24 La-Liga-Spielen.
Eine Ablösesumme von rund 20 Mio. Euro für den 1,85-m-Stürmer steht im Raum. Sein Vertrag bei den Wolves läuft 2026 aus. Die Engländer können also nur noch in diesem Sommer und im kommenden Winter eine Ablöse für Silva erzielen.
