Como a primeira partida terminou em 0 a 0, quem se der melhor em São Januário irá carimbar o passaporte para as quartas. Nos 90 minutos, o CSA tem 41,8% de probabilidade de vencer, contra 31,5% do Vasco. O empate aparece como o cenário improvável, com 26,7% de chance.
A Bola de Cristal também prevê a possibilidade de classificação caso a decisão seja nos pênaltis. Assim, contando com mais um empate no tempo regulamentar, o CSA tem chances totais de 55,1% de garantir a vaga. Já o Vasco tem 44,9% de probabilidade de se manter vivo na última Copa que disputa este ano, após a eliminação na Sul-Americana com direito a goleada para o Independiente del Valle, do Equador.
