O Sporting tem um novo lateral esquerdo nas suas fileiras: trata-se de Ricardo Mangas, jogador português de 27 anos que foi anunciado como reforço dos leões nesta quinta-feira, tendo assinado um contrato válido para as próximas quatro temporadas, até junho de 2029, e ficando com uma cláusula de rescisão de 60 milhões de euros.
O ex-Vitória SC regressa, assim, a Portugal depois de ter trocado o emblema de Guimarães pelo Spartak Moscovo no verão passado, numa transferência de 2 milhões de euros. Um ano depois, para contratá-lo ao conjunto russo, o Sporting teve de pagar apenas 300 mil euros no imediato, com o negócio a poder ascender até um máximo de 1 milhão de euros, uma vez que ficaram 700 mil euros dependentes do cumprimento de objetivos.
Durante a sua passagem pela Rússia, com a camisola do Spartak, Mangas participou em 19 partidas – duas delas já em 2025/26 -, num total de apenas 734 minutos em campo. A pouca utilização fez com que o seu valor de mercado, que estava nos 4 milhões de euros quando deixou o futebol português, tivesse diminuído para os 2,5 milhões de euros que regista atualmente.
Mangas chega agora a Alvalade para reforçar o leque de opções à disposição do treinador Rui Borges, com quem chegou a trabalhar em Guimarães, para a posição de lateral esquerdo.
