After an impressive debut from Shedeur Sanders with the Cleveland Browns in their season opener, much of the conversation has shifted to the strength of this year’s rookie class. Now, all eyes turn to Cam Ward, the first overall pick, as he prepares to make his mark with the Tennessee Titans.
The Titans will open their season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where Tennessee’s rookie quarterback will make his NFL debut. A former Dallas Cowboys star, Dez Bryanthas already placed his bet on the young signal-caller, predicting a standout performance in his first game. He is considered one of the most promising players in the league, and Bryant has spoken highly of him.

Dez Bryant breaks down Cam Ward’s NFL debut
At Raymond James Stadium, the Tennessee Titans will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where Coach Brian Callahan confirmed that Ward will play at least one series as the starting QB or get some minutes in those preseason matches. Fans are eager to see his first snaps in an NFL uniform.
Dez Bryant knows about this issue and has challenged all NFL fans to guess how many passes Ward will complete in his debut match for a chance to win $500 in FanCash. The challenge has already stirred excitement on social media.
The former all-pro player of the NFL posted all the information regarding the challenge in his X account. He wrote, “Cam Ward takes the field today, and you could win $500 FanCash just for calling his shot – How Many Pass Attempts will he have in his debut?”
Cam Ward set to lead the Titans offense he previously criticized
Everyone knows about Cam Ward’s talent; he showcased it during his college career with the Miami Hurricanes, displaying the full range of his skills. During Titans training camp, he continued to make headlines, impressing coaches and teammates as the team prepared for the upcoming season.
However, Ward also drew attention for his candid comments about the team’s offensive line, noting their struggles. “I just think we’re very mid right now. At the end of the day, it all starts with me, I have to get on the same page with my receivers, watch more film, and be more accurate with the football,” Ward said on July 30.
Everything is set for the Titans’ preseason, starting with a matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, followed by games against the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings. It will now be Ward’s responsibility to lead the team and showcase the true potential that could define his NFL career.
