Em coluna publicada no portal GZH, o experiente comunicador cravou o triunfo gremista, mas alertou Mano Menezes para os perigos se um inesperado tropeço acontecer.
Para Pedro Ernesto, o Grêmio segue tendo problemas sérios em sua equipe, mas a fragilidade do adversário desta rodada – que ainda não venceu e segue isolado na lanterna – faz o Tricolor Gaúcho ser o franco favorito para terminar o domingo com mais três pontos.
“Poucas são as possibilidades nas 38 rodadas do Brasileirão de escrever que o Grêmio é favorito. Desta vez é possível. O adversário é lanterna da competição, tem seis empates e nenhuma vitória. Ainda tem uma boa quantidade de derrotas. Neste caso, vou para a Arena transmitir uma vitória gremista. Não pode ser diferente porque são pontos essenciais. Jogar contra o lanterna em casa, com sua torcida e não ganhar é crime de lesa pátria”, publicou Pedro.

Mas se o resultado for diferente, com eventual surpresa por parte do Sport, Pedro Ernesto Denardin não duvida nem que o técnico gremista Mano Menezes, já pressionado antes do jogo, possa vir a pedir demissão do cargo.
“Este jogo é importante para Mano Menezes. Todos que contestam seu trabalho e já pedem sua substituição ficarão ainda mais legitimados se a vitória não vier. Não dá para duvidar que o próprio profissional peça demissão. É um jogo muitíssimo importante”, alertou.

Depois de sofrer uma decepcionante derrota de 1×0 para o Fluminense, no Maracanã, no último sábado, o Grêmio, que é o 14° colocado com 20 pontos no Brasileirão, teve toda a semana dedicada a treinamentos para performar melhorar contra o Sport. O desfalque é Kannemann, suspenso, enquanto Marlon e Olivera retornam.
Uma provável escalação a ser utilizada por Mano Menezes contra o lanterna tem Tiago Volpi; Camilo, Balbuena, Wagner Leonardo, Marlon; Dodi, Villasanti, Riquelme; Alysson, Martin Braithwaite e Cristian Olivera.
