LeBron James’ son, Bronny, is not only following in his father’s basketball footsteps but is also carving out his own personal story.
While LeBron’s relationship with his wife, Savannah, has long been a public fixture, Bronny is now starting his own romantic journey. Recently, the young Lakers guard shared a significant milestone in his relationship with Parker Whitfield, taking another step toward embracing his love life openly.
LeBron and Bronny spend quality time together before next NBA season
Bronny and Parker first met at Sierra Canyon High School in California, where Bronny played basketball, and Parker played softball. Both hail from prominent families – Parker is the daughter of Hollywood stars Salli Richardson-Whitfield and Dondre T. Whitfield, meaning she’s no stranger to the public spotlight, much like Bronny.
Despite their early success in high school sports, their relationship remained mostly private for quite some time. However, in recent months, they’ve grown more open, showcasing their connection to the world.
The first whispers of their relationship began in 2024 during the Paris Olympics. The couple was seen together, holding hands at a game where LeBron and Team USA were playing.
At the time, they didn’t confirm anything publicly, but the spark between them was undeniable. Now, with their relationship flourishing, they’ve begun sharing more details, including an anniversary celebration that was caught on social media.
A growing bond between Bronny and Parker
Bronny’s Instagram recently featured a sweet anniversary post, where he shared a mirror selfie of him and Parker at a dinner, with the caption “Anniversary dinner!”. Although he didn’t offer many other details, their coordinated outfits and the overall tenderness of the post were clear indicators of their closeness.
Parker shared the same post on her account, adding multiple pink heart emojis, which further revealed the affectionate nature of their relationship.
Their bond has continued to grow with more social media exchanges. In November 2024, Bronny posted, “I miss my baby. Love u sm,” a heartfelt message to Parker. She reciprocated the affection on National Boyfriend Day, writing, “Bf day! I love you! Bronny.”
These public gestures have offered a glimpse into their love story and shown how they continue to support each other as their relationship deepens.
Family support and protective love
Being in the public eye at a young age can be challenging, but Bronny has found unwavering support from his family. Both LeBron and Savannah have expressed their approval of the relationship, providing a strong foundation of protection and encouragement.
A viral video from Paris showcased Savannah playing the role of chaperone for Bronny and Parker, as the couple enjoyed their time together while LeBron focused on Team USA duties.
Additionally, LeBron has shown support for the couple, often appearing with Bronny and Parker at public events, such as a high school basketball game between Sierra Canyon and St. John Bosco.
Despite the tension of the game, cameras captured LeBron happily cheering on his son and his girlfriend, highlighting the unity and encouragement within the family. This level of support was also evident when Bronny took Parker to Hawaii during the offseason, where they enjoyed some much-needed downtime together.
