No es la primera vez que Hezonja utiliza sus redes sociales o los micrófonos de la prensa para expresar sus contundentes opiniones o contestar a las críticas. Después de ganar el tercer partido de los ‘play-offs’ de la Euroliga ante Olympiacos, el alero se retiró a los vestuarios sin saludar a los jugadores rivales. Entonces, declaró: “Sinceramente, lo olvidé, pero es lo que hay. Solo que tenemos que darnos la mano después de cada partido, no me gusta. Hay un momento adecuado para demostrar deportividad, pero es una tontería hacerlo con apretones de manos“.
