A Copa do Brasil conhecerá os duelos das quartas de final amanhã (12). O sorteio será realizado na sede da CBF na Barra da Tijuca a partir das 10h da manhã (horário de Brasília) e será transmitido ao vivo pelo SporTV e pelo site oficial da entidade.
O evento irá começar com o sorteio das oitavas de final do torneio mata-mata no futebol feminino. Na sequência, acontecerá a definição dos confrontos no masculino. Os oito classificados foram conhecidos no meio da semana passada.
Todos os times podem se cruzar nas quartas
Seguem na briga pelo título da Copa do Brasil 2025: Athletico-PR, Atlético-MG, Bahia, Botafogo, Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Fluminense e Vasco da Gama. No sorteio, não haverá divisão por potes. Ou seja, todas as equipes podem se enfrentar. Além disso, o chaveamento até a final também será conhecido.
As quartas de final da Copa do Brasil serão disputadas nas datas base de 27 de agosto e 11 de setembro. Já as semifinais estão previstas para os dias 5 e 19 de outubro. Por fim, os dois jogos da decisão ocorrerão em 2 e 9 de novembro.
Quem alcançar as semifinais garantirá uma premiação de R$ 9.922.500. Já o vice-campeão terá direito a R$ 33.075.000 e o grande campeão da Copa do Brasil embolsará R$ 77.175.000.
Dois clubes buscam título inédito da Copa do Brasil
Dos oito times que seguem na disputa, dois ainda não ganharam o torneio mata-mata da CBF: Bahia e Botafogo. Enquanto o Esquadrão de Aço de Rogério Ceni chega pela oitava vez às quartas almejando uma inédita semifinal, o Fogão perdeu a decisão para o Juventude em 1999.
O Cruzeiro é o maior campeão da Copa do Brasil com seis títulos (1993, 1996, 2000, 2003, 2017 e 2018). Na sequência dos times que continuam na competição, aparece o tricampeão Corinthians (1995, 2002 e 2009). Atual vice-campeão, o Atlético-MG possui duas taças: 2014 e 2021. Por fim, despontam com um título cada: Athletico-PR (2019), Fluminense (2007) e Vasco (2011).
