Champions-League-Sieger SC Magdeburg verliert nach der Saison 2025/26 seinen Meister-Torwart Sergey Hernandez (30). Der spanische Nationalkeeper hat sich entschieden, den Verein zu verlassen.

„Ein neues Kapitel beginnt“, sagt der 1,97-Meter-Hüne. Wohin er wechselt, verrät er (noch) nicht! Seit Monaten gilt er als Top-Kandidat beim FC Barcelona. Deren dänischer Keeper Emil Nielsen (28) zieht 2026 weiter zu Ungarns KC Veszprém.

Hernandez kam 2023 von Benfica Lissabon und holte mit Magdeburg alles: Meisterschaft, Pokal, Champions League, Super Globe. Jetzt noch ein Jahr Vollgas mit dem SCM – dann geht’s wohl in Richtung Mittelmeer!

„Nach reiflicher Überlegung habe ich die schwere Entscheidung getroffen, ein neues Kapitel in meiner Karriere zu beginnen. Aus Respekt gegenüber allen Beteiligten werde ich die Gründe und Details zu gegebener Zeit mitteilen“, lässt Hernandez über den Verein mitteilen. Über die Gründe will er erst später sprechen, bedankt sich aber emotional bei Verein, Mitspielern, Trainerstab und Fans: „Es war eine große Ehre. Bis zum allerletzten Tag werde ich alles für dieses Team geben.“

Trainer Bennet Wiegert (43) macht keinen Hehl aus seiner Enttäuschung – und seinem Respekt: „Die Gespräche mit Sergey waren offen und ehrlich. Ich habe sehr gespürt, wie schwer ihm die Entscheidung gefallen ist. Er hat uns sportlich wie menschlich enorm bereichert. Wir hätten ihn gerne weiter im SCM-Trikot gesehen.“

[–>Bis Sommer 2026 will Hernandez mit Magdeburg weiter Titel jagen – danach wird der SCM die entstehende Lücke wahrscheinlich mit dem kroatischen Nationalkeeper Matej Mandic (23/RK Zagreb) füllen.

Problém obou vozů byl v rozměrech zadních křídel při otevření systému DRS. Mezera totiž podle technického ředitele Mezinárodní automobilové federace (FIA) Jo Bauera překročila maximální povolený rozměr 85 milimetrů. Ředitelství závodu tak muselo přikročit k diskvalifikaci obou vozů.„Obě části profilů zadního křídla musí mít mezeru v rozmezí od 9,4 milimetrů do 85 milimetrů. Tato mezera se měří sférickým měřidlem,“ stojí v technických regulích. „Během technické kontroly bylo zjištěno, že zadní křídla nejsou v souladu s předpisy,“ uvedli stevardi po kontrole Williamsů.„Pro nás je to velké zklamání a nyní vyšetřujeme, jak k této chybě došlo. V žádném případě jsme neusilovali o výkonnostní výhodu. Zadní křídla našimi kontrolami prošla, ale rozhodující je pouze jedno měření a výsledek od FIA plně akceptujeme,“ uvedl šéf stáje James Vowles.Dvojitá diskvalifikace Williamsu přišla poté, co v minulém závodě v Ázerbájdžánu ze stejných důvodů ředitelství závodu vyloučilo z kvalifikace Estebana Ocona na Haasu.
