It has been confirmed that Colombian singer Karol G will take center stage at halftime to fire up Brazilian fans during the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil.
This game will mark the first-ever NFL contest held in Brazil and will also be the first to be streamed via YouTube.

The NFL’s international expansion
For years, the NFL has been actively engaging international markets, steadily growing its fan base abroad. The league’s internationalization began decades ago, with Mexico emerging as its most important market outside the United States.
In the southern neighbor, football has been widely known and embraced for more than 70 years. Fans understand and deeply appreciate the sport. Currently, however, games are on hiatus in Mexico due to renovations at Estadio Azteca ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In recent years, NFL games abroad have become a fixture. The United Kingdom and Germany have hosted numerous matchups, and Spain is set to join the list next season. Madrid’s iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, recently renovated-will host a clash between the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders on November 16.
Other artists set to perform in Brazil
In addition to Karol G’s halftime performance, Brazilian singer Ana Castela will deliver the Brazilian national anthem, while American saxophonist Kamasi Washington will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Karol G is currently promoting her new album Tropicoqueta, and the NFL stage in Brazil provides an ideal platform to introduce her music to fans who may not yet be familiar with her work.
Her appearance reflects the increasing influence of Latin urban music in the English-speaking market. The rhythms and energy resonate strongly with audiences, and the effect is even greater during live performances.
