Großes Aufatmen bei Barça!
Die spanische Liga hat den Verletzungs-Bericht zu Marc-André ter Stegen (33) akzeptiert. In diesem wurde festgehalten, dass der deutsche Torwart mindestens vier Monate („Langzeitverletzung“) ausfällt. Die Folge: Barça kann 80 Prozent des Gehalts seines Kapitäns verwenden, um andere Spieler gemäß den Financial-Fairplay-Regeln der spanischen La Liga zu registrieren.
Ter Stegen macht den Weg für Garcia frei
Das heißt wiederum, dass ter Stegens Nachfolger und Hauptkonkurrent Joan Garcia (24) registriert werden und somit im ersten Ligaspiel bei Mallorca (16. August) zum Einsatz kommen kann. Eine wichtige Nachricht für den FC Barcelona, da zuvor mit Iñaki Peña (26) nur ein Torwart spielberechtigt war, der den Klub aber eigentlich sogar verlassen soll.
[–>Barça am Mittwochabend in einer Stellungnahme auf der Vereins-Website: „Der FC Barcelona gibt hiermit bekannt, dass der medizinische Ausschuss der La Liga entschieden hat, dass die Verletzung von Torhüter Marc-André ter Stegen die Kriterien für eine Langzeitverletzung gemäß den geltenden Bestimmungen erfüllt. Der Verein wird morgen unverzüglich die Registrierung des Spielers Joan García vornehmen.“
Auch für ter Stegen ist es das endgültige Ende einer Schlammschlacht. Der deutsche Nationaltorwart musste sich im Juli einer Rücken-OP unterziehen, sprach anschließend auf Instagram von einer Pause von drei Monaten. Sehr zum Unmut des Klubs, der von mindestens vier Monaten ausging und dies wegen der Financial-Fair-Play-Regeln der spanischen La Liga auch so verkünden wollte. Infolgedessen wollte Barça, dass der medizinische Bericht über seinen Gesundheitszustand an die spanische La Liga geschickt wird, damit diese sich ein eigenes Bild machen kann – was der Torwart zunächst verweigerte.
Nach einer Stellungnahme in den sozialen Medien sprach sich ter Stegen jedoch mit dem Klub aus und unterschrieb den medizinischen Bericht doch. Infolgedessen durfte die Barça-Legende (seit 2014 im Klub) auch sein Kapitänsamt behalten.
