A tabela do Brasileirão Série A segue com muitos asteriscos, por conta dos jogos atrasados do primeiro turno. As partidas adiadas ocorreram principalmente por conta da participação do quarteto brasileiro na Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa.
A presença de Fluminense, Palmeiras, Flamengo e Botafogo no Super Mundial nos Estados Unidos motivou as transferências de muitos confrontos. Além do torneio da Fifa que teve o Tricolor de Renato Gaúcho como semifinalista, os compromissos de outras equipes na Copa do Nordeste e nos playoffs da Copa Sul-Americana também proporcionaram adiamentos.
Atualmente, o Campeonato Brasileiro tem 12 jogos pendentes, abrangendo quatro rodadas. Destes duelos, apenas um tem data marcada pela CBF. Juventude x Vasco entrarão em campo na quarta-feira que vem (20) no Alfredo Jaconi, em jogo atrasado da 14ª rodada, às 19h (horário de Brasília).
As duas equipes que integram a zona de rebaixamento estão devendo duas partidas na competição nacional. Aliás, dos 20 times da primeira divisão, nove jogaram 17 das 19 rodadas realizadas. Ou seja, quase a metade dos integrantes do campeonato.
Palmeiras pode impedir ‘título’ do Flamengo do primeiro turno
Em contrapartida, um candidato à taça do Brasileirão tem os mesmos dois jogos atrasados. Com 36 pontos em 17 partidas, o Palmeiras ainda pode tirar o título simbólico do primeiro turno do Flamengo, que soma 40 pontos nas 18 vezes em que entrou em campo.
Possuem 17 dos 19 jogos no Brasileirão Série A: Palmeiras, Bahia, Botafogo, Mirassol, Fluminense, Atlético-MG, Vasco, Juventude e Sport. Já os únicos que atuaram em todas as rodadas são Cruzeiro, São Paulo, Red Bull Bragantino, Corinthians e Vitória. O returno do Campeonato Brasileiro começa amanhã (16).
