„Všichni jsou v kabině nas.aní. Třetí ztráta po čtyřech zápasech je moc,“ navazoval plzeňský záložník Lukáš Červ.

„V zápase bylo vše, na co jsme tým připravovali. Neměli jsme správnou reakci v prvním poločase. Mužstvu vytýkám dlouhé balony Dukly. Věděli jsme, že soupeř bude taky bojovný, běhavý a agresivní. Nedařilo se nám ve předních pozicích být víc nebezpeční, zády k bráně jsme ztráceli balony, pouštěli jsme soupeře do brejku. Nejsem spokojený s útočným seskupením,“ vyjmenovával Koubek.
„A je pak problém, když pustíte odhodlaného soupeře plného emocí do vedení. Dělali jsme s tím, co jsme ve druhé půli mohli. Enormní snahou jsme se snažili vyrovnat. Jenže když mlíko rozlejete, už ho nesetřete a je zle. A mlíko jsme v první půli fakt rozlili,“ glosoval trenérský bard.

„Jsme hodně mladý tým a v něčem to je znát,“ lamentoval čtyřiadvacetiletý Červ. „Když jsme mladí, měli bychom být dravější, což jsme nebyli. Chyběla nám drzost. Jsem tu rok a půl a vždy jsme měli dobrou defenzivu. Už ani nevím, kdy jsme neudrželi čisté konto.“
Mimochodem, poslední ligová nula se datuje na počátek jarní nadstavby v minulé sezoně, kdy Plzeň vyzmizíkovala doma marnou Spartu 2:0.
Absence čistých kont ale Viktoria uměla maskovat gólovou produkcí.
V sobotu byla ve druhé půli na Julisce lepším týmem, domácím dovolila jen 33 úspěšných přihrávek. I pár slušných možností měla. Žalostně jí ale scházela efektivita a větší kreativita. Třeba útočník Durosinmi dvakrát hlavou trefil břevno, dvě šance zahodil střídající Vydra.

„Dukla to odskákala, odbránila a odblokovala. Kreativita se projevuje v kolmých přihrávkách. A to tam nebylo,“ kývl Koubek. Jeho družina poznává éru bez všehoschopného Pavla Šulce.
Nedávná opora v sobotu ve stejnou chvíli seděla na lavičce Lyonu, za který si v nastavení připsala premiérový startík ve francouzské lize při výhře 1:0 na hřišti Lens. Plzeň navíc opustí další kreativec. Domlouvá se hostování ofenzivního záložníka Toma Slončíka.
„Doporučil jsem mu hostování a pravděpodobně k tomu dojde. Nechtěl bych ho brzdit a nemohl mu zaručit při našem rozhovoru minutáž, kterou měl dřív v Hradci.“
V neúplné tabulce spadla Plzeň až na osmý flek. V úterý ji čeká ligová dohrávka v Mladé Boleslavi. „Jedeme ven a musíme reagovat. Musíme zvednout naše nastavení. První poločas byl z naší strany málo. Chyběla týmovost a umění reagovat na to, co se dalo čekat. To mě zklamalo,“ přemítal Koubek.
„Nejsme na tom dobře bodově. Uvidíme, jak začneme bodovat dál. Dvě nešťastné domácí remízy nám nepomohly. Naše vina, měli jsme si to uhrát, byly to naše chyby. Složité období to je.“
Ještě složitější může být, pokud se čekání natáhne při výpravě do Mladé Boleslavi.
