Ani vyložený propadák, ani žádný úspěch. Letošní Hlinka Gretzky Cup hokejových talentů do osmnácti let, který se až do soboty koná premiérově v Brně, českého fanouška za srdce nechytl. Do značné míry za to mohou nemastné výkony domácího výběru, který po dvou stříbrných vystoupeních v posledních dvou letech za velmocemi tentokrát zaostal a nepostoupil do bojů o medaile. Celkově obsadil páté místo, přičemž za sebou nechal jen týmy, které by porážet měl, tedy Slovensko, Švýcarsko a Německo. Ruku v ruce s tím byl i zájem o akci. Ten nepředčil Břeclav, odkud se turnaj letos po dlouhých letech přestěhoval.
