Apesar da postura oficial do investidor e empresário Marcelo Marques, que, nesta semana, confirmou em nota a desistência na contratação de Róger Guedes, alguns torcedores do Grêmio resistem em acreditar na vinda do atacante e encontram alguns “sinais” na web. Um novo post feito pelo jogador do Al-Rayyan, do Catar, serviu para alimentar esta expectativa.
Bastante religioso, Guedes usou o seu Instagram para publicar a seguinte frase bíblica durante a última sexta-feira: “Por causa da sua fé, vai acontecer”. Relatos dão conta de que jogadores do atual elenco gremista, como Marlon e Edenilson, curtiram o post.
“O Róger Guedes quer me iludir essas horas”, escreveu o perfil “Grêmio TimeLine”. “Aparentemente vamos ter que nos apegar em Cristo começem suas orações”, brincou outro torcedor identificado como “Ben 10 gremista”.
“Fatos: RG quer muito vir pro Grêmio Não vai vir, não depende só dele”, apontou outro internauta tricolor. “Se o RENATO estivesse no Grêmio, Róger Guedes já teria desembarcado em Porto Alegre Faltou uma ligação, uma insistência, alguém meter uma pilha no Roger pra ele forçar uma saída Meu sonho é Marcelo Marques + Renato no Grêmio”, disparou mais um.

Em nota oficial enviada à imprensa no meio da semana, Marcelo Marques – que é o provável novo presidente gremista a partir de 2026 – destacou que o Grêmio não poderia mais esperar e avisou que seguiria disponível para a direção na ajuda financeira sobre reforços. Ele demonstrou um certo incômodo com a postura do clube do Catar, o Al-Rayyan, com a sua demora na negociação.
“Acho que esta transparência com o torcedor é fundamental. Depois de avaliarmos este nome em conjunto com os dirigentes do clube, e eu disponibilizar os recursos para realizar o negócio (€ 10 milhões), infelizmente não houve uma evolução da negociação junto ao Al-Rayyan, que não demonstra interesse em se desfazer do jogador no momento. E eu entendo que o Grêmio não pode aguardar mais para realizar os investimentos na equipe”, diz Marques, em trecho do seu comunicado.
Guedes estreia brilhando na nova temporada
Enquanto isso, Róger Guedes segue cumprindo com classe o seu papel dentro de campo e marcou dois gols na vitória do Al-Rayyan pelo placar de 3×1 sobre o Al-Sailiya, na última quinta, pela estreia da Liga do Catar. Um dos gols foi cobrando penalidade máxima e o outro foi com bola rolando na frente do goleiro.
