Neste sábado (16), o Bahia ganhou do Corinthians, na Neo Química Arena, por 2 a 1, pelo Brasileirão, em um jogo bem movimentado. O time de Rogério Ceni, que costuma ter a posse de bola, suportou uma grande pressão do Timão e garantiu os três pontos. Assim, o técnico exaltou sua defesa e elogiou o time de Dorival Júnior.
Rogério Ceni reconhece atuação do Corinthians
Em uma clara demonstração de esportividade, Rogério Ceni reconheceu os esforços de Dorival Júnior para melhorar o Corinthians e alcançar resultado. De acordo com ele, o Timão superou suas dificuldades, dominou a partida e merecia ter vencido o confronto.
“O Corinthians teve muito mérito hoje, mereciam um placar melhor no primeiro tempo. Pesaram muito a área, e aí hoje foi destacável o David Duarte. Um jogador que dão pouco valor, mas tem sido muito importante para a gente. Soubemos nos defender. Acho que tivemos boas chances de gol, o Corinthians teve mais, mas é a lógica do futebol, o Corinthians é muito forte em sua casa. O Dorival faz um bom trabalho, mas às vezes a bola não entra“, analisou Rogério Ceni, hoje técnico do Bahia.
Defesa do Bahia se destaca
Rogério Ceni também fez questão de exaltar a atuação sólida da defesa do Bahia em Itaquera. Segundo ele, a zaga foi o grande destaque, com David Duarte e Ramos Mingo destruindo várias jogadas. Assim, conseguiu anular bastante as tentativas do Corinthians.
“Acho que a dedicação de todos. A dupla de zaga foi destaque, tiraram todas as bolas da área. Fomos objetivos no primeiro tempo, duas finalizações e dois gols. Acho que são vários fatores. O um contra um do Kayky, a velocidade do Ademir, o Willian fazendo parede. Tivemos muita disciplina, defendemos em linha de cinco, Lucho [Rodríguez] voltou para marcar”, se orgulhou Ceni.
Além disso, Rogério Ceni tocou em um ponto sensível da torcida do Bahia ao elogiar a atuação de Ronaldo na partida. O goleiro tricolor foi um dos destaques do jogo no segundo tempo, fazendo 6 defesas, sendo 5 em finalizações de dentro da área. Ele vinha falhando nos últimos jogos, assim como Marcos Felipe, que já deixou o clube. O Esquadrão de Aço vive uma crise na posição, e fechou com João Paulo, do Santos, para tentar resolver.
“Acho que ele fez um segundo tempo excepcional. Acho que ele precisava disso, precisava ganhar confiança para quarta-feira. Importante reverter esse quadro, ele fez boas defesas no segundo tempo. Fico feliz porque o goleiro vive de confiança. Esses últimos 45 minutos foram importantíssimos para a sequência dele”, finalizou Rogério Ceni.
