Taylor Swift has introduced the visual campaign for her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, with promotional imagery centered on high-value jewelry.
According to valuations from industry experts, the pieces worn by Swift across the album’s cover and supporting photographs are worth approximately $920,000. The record will be released on October 3.
Taylor Swift shows her seductive side in vinyl campaign
The primary album cover depicts Swift underwater, dressed in a silver, stone-studded bodysuit with structured cutouts.
The styling is completed by layers of diamonds and gemstones. One highlighted accessory is a vintage Stephanie Gottlieb bracelet valued at $32,000, composed of four multicolored diamond strands, which Swift stacked with a thick diamond bangle.
In another image, she wears ruby drop earrings by Ethos Maria, weighing 38.88 carats, paired with a bodysuit pose across a chair.
Further promotional materials feature additional high-value items designed by Lorraine Schwartz, one of Swift‘s preferred jewelers. Schwartz‘s pieces include sculptural drop earrings, pavé diamond cuffs, a pink pearl ring, and a sapphire-and-diamond bracelet.
Schwartz is also known for creating the red jeweled “T” chain Swift wore at the Grammy Awards last year, a piece that drew attention for its connection to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.
A curated display of high jewelry
Specialist Maxwell Stone of Steven Stone described the campaign as a deliberate presentation of luxury. In his assessment, Swift‘s collaboration with Schwartz enhances her visual narrative, moving beyond costume into “a curated display of sophistication.”
He noted that the combination of triangular earrings, layered cuffs, and custom rings positions Swift as “a true curator of glamour.”
Other designers are also represented. Swift wore butterfly-inspired diamond studs from Anabela Chan and a Vanilla Gold ring by Le Vian that references Art Deco styling.
Collectively, the ensemble was described by Stone as a “symphony of sparkle,” reinforcing the theatrical theme implied by the album title.
Estimates of the overall value take into account both known retail prices and projected figures for custom works. Combined, the pieces amount to around $920,000, underlining the scale of the campaign.
One notable absence is Cartier. Despite being a favored brand for Swift in recent years, Cartier jewelry does not appear in the current album materials.
The omission is striking, given her recent appearance on the New Heights podcast, where she wore a Panthère de Cartier necklace valued at $22,500.
That piece, featuring the brand’s iconic panther motif in gold with diamond detailing, reflects her ongoing engagement with the French maison outside the context of the album.
By embedding high-value jewelry within her latest album campaign, Swift underscores the integration of fashion, luxury, and performance in her public image. The Life of a Showgirl is positioned not only as a musical release but also as a visual showcase, with its promotional materials drawing heavily on motifs of glamour and spectacle.
