Svlékla atletický dres a oblékla bikiny. Češka má medaile i desítky tisíc fanoušků

Dvanáctým rokem tvoří pár s bývalým halovým evropským šampionem nad překážkami Petrem Svobodou. Společně vyrážejí do fitcentra na pražském Opatově, kde se český rekordman připravuje, aby se mohl co nejdůstojněji rozloučit s kariérou, zatímco jeho o osm let mladší partnerka ladí postavu, aby uspěla před rozhodčími na soutěžích.

„Je to velká dřina, fakt těžká. Ale miluju to,“ ujišťuje po hodinovém drilu pod vedením svého kouče Lukáše Osladila, který to ve své kulturistické kariéře dotáhl i na nejprestižnější soutěž světa Mr. Olympia.

Kodrová si zvolila kategorii bikiny fitness, která spadá pod kulturistiku a fitness, ale cílem není maximální svalový objem. Přesto před blížící se soutěží vyžaduje extrémní disciplínu i co se týče stravy.

„Při té dietě už mám chuť úplně na všechno. Miluju steaky, k tomu třeba hranolky, smetanovou omáčku. Nebo taky palačinky a donuty,“ vypočítává, na co všechno musí v týdnech před závody s těžkým srdcem zapomenout.

Počítání každého gramu a složení jídla se podepíše i na psychice. Ne snad, že by s ní bylo k nevydržení. „Před tím mě hodně lidí varovalo, že se budeme hádat, s Peťanem jsme se toho báli. Ale spíš jsem pak jako chodící mrtvola, strašně unavená, bez energie, schopná sedět a půl hodiny zírat do zdi,“ připouští.

„K snídani si dám tři čtyři bílky, jdu na trénink a je pak těžké fungovat dál,“ popisuje. Ale změny sportu nelituje. „Hned na prvních závodech mi došlo, že to má smysl a vlastně už se svým způsobem těším i na ten proces s dietou. I když vím, jak je těžká,“ připouští.

Však už při atletických trénincích jí jeden z trenérů řekl, že by měla dobrou postavu na fitness. „Tehdy mě to ještě nezajímalo, ale pak jsem začala sledovat na Instagramu holky, které byly na Olympii. Začalo se mi líbit, jaké mají hezké vysportované postavy, a říkala jsem si, že bych to mohla zkusit,“ vypráví.

Nějaký čas oba sporty kombinovala. „V posilovně se občas doplňovaly, ale když jsem potřebovala být odpočinutá na rychlost a techniku překážek, už to bylo složitější a přicházela únava,“ vysvětluje. Poslední závod tak absolvovala na loňském halovém mistrovství republiky.

Z atletky Kateřiny Kodrové je teď závodnice v kulturistice a fitness

Teď se i její trénink v posilovně změnil. Osobní rekordy netrhá. „Atletická posilovna je dynamická, tady jdu spíš pomalu a hlavně víc opakování, než že bych se snažila o maximální váhy,“ porovnává.

Musela se naučit pózovat před lidmi v úsporných bikinách a na podpatkách, i to pro ni bylo nové. Však jako atletka maximálně na startu zamávala do kamer… „Bála jsem se toho. Ale pak to ze mě na pódiu spadlo, ani jsem nebyla nervózní a hrozně jsem se v tom našla,“ pochvaluje si.

Z atletického prostředí nevypadla, s partnerem občas vyrazí na stadion, ale medaile už získává ve svém novém sportu. První, pořádně veliké, vybojovala koncem loňského roku v soutěžích federace NPC, přes něž může vést cesta až k profesionální kartě a účasti na Mr. Olympia. „To je samozřejmě vysoký cíl. Ale byla bych ráda, kdyby to jednou vyšlo,“ zasní se.

Zatím si získala spoustu fanoušků na sociálních sítích, však její Instagram čítá přes 60 000 sledujících! „Z toho jsem i sama trochu v šoku,“ usmívá se Kodrová, která síť zásobuje fotografiemi své vypracované postavy. A kromě lajků může Instagram přinést i sponzorské nabídky.

I ve financích je oproti atletice rozdíl. „Tam jsou dané tabulky podle toho, co dosáhnete. A když jsem přišla sem, všechno se řeší přes sponzory a právě třeba Instagram, který jsem dřív neřešila. Teď už mi říkali, že mám na české poměry dost sledujících, také jsem takhle získala jednu spolupráci,“ líčí.

„Sama jsem dřív neměla odvahu se takto prezentovat, ale asi budu muset, protože závody jsou dost finančně náročné. Musí se platit vše od cesty, ubytování po startovné,“ vypočítává. Pokud se jí povede naplnit sen o zisku profesionální karty, bude moct bojovat i o zajímavé odměny na soutěžích.
