São Paulo elimina o Atlético Nacional, avança na Libertadores e torcedores aclamam Rafael: “Melhor goleiro do Brasil”

Segurando um empate valioso no jogo de ida, o São Paulo fez o dever de casa nesta terça (19) ao vencer o Atlético Nacional. Em confronto no Morumbis, o Tricolor trouxe alívio aos torcedores logo no começo da partida. Porém, o sentimento de apreensão tomou conta do estádio com o empate dos colombianos e, posteriormente, outra decisão por pênaltis na Libertadores.

Aplicando um ímpeto avassalador desde o apito inicial, o São Paulo não demorou para abrir o placar. Depois de Rodriguinho e Bobadilla falharem em arremates dentro da grande área, André Silva não desperdiçou uma bola que se ofereceu para ser cabeceada em cobrança de escanteio. Neste cenário, o Morumbis ferveu ainda mais com o primeiro gol da partida.

Precisando do empate, o Atlético Nacional se lançou ao ataque no segundo tempo. Herói na primeira partida, Rafael salvou o São Paulo em duas oportunidades ao defender os chutes de Hinestroza e Morelos. Mais tarde, em pênalti cometido por Enzo Díaz, confirmado com apoio do VAR, Cardona deu sinais que iria para a terceira cobrança na marca da cal, mas a responsabilidade ficou com Morelos, que mostrou eficiência para empatar o confronto.

Apesar do baque causado pelo gol do Atlético Nacional, o São Paulo se beneficiou da expulsão de Cardona por confusão com Ferraresi. Ciente da necessidade de sufocar o adversário, Crespo acionou Ferreirinha e, através de uma jogada extraordinária, o camisa 11 esteve perto de um gol de placa, mas a finalização fora da baliza impediu uma nova explosão no Morumbis. Na sequência, em rebatida dentro da área, Luciano exigiu o esforço máximo de Ospina.

Vitória nos pênaltis e Rafael aclamado

Sem o segundo gol em nenhum dos lados, São Paulo e Atlético Nacional protagonizaram uma disputa de pênaltis pela vaga na Libertadores. Defendendo a primeira cobrança e contando com ajuda da trave na última cobrança da equipe adversária, Rafael terminou o embate como grande herói do Tricolor e, consequentemente, foi enaltecido pelos torcedores.

Por fim, Cédric Soares assumiu a responsabilidade de converter o último arremate e colocar o time de Crespo nas quartas de final da Libertadores. Agora, outra revanche, desta vez contra o Botafogo, tem chances de ocorrer.
