Everyone except Aaron Judge is being disrespected on the Yankees but the team must push forward

Despite entering a positive streak, it seems the New York Yankees aren’t getting the respect they deserve. At least, that’s the sentiment for many who see the team not receiving the credit it merits, even though several of their players are doing remarkable things on the field, backed by their impressive numbers.

It’s no secret that a significant slump cost them the lead in their division, but that doesn’t mean their players can’t be considered among “the best.”

¡otra vez!

Yankees largely overlooked in the 2025 All-MLB Team

According to the latest results of the All-MLB Team 2025 polls, only two Yankees players made the cut.

As expected, and for many an obvious choice, right fielder Aaron Judge is included, continuing to dominate with the bat despite a recent injury that sidelined him.

“With two homers in his past five games, Judge is heating back up after starting slowly once he returned from an IL stint for a right elbow flexor strain. (Not that he was ever all that cold, because this is Judge, after all),”MLB.com‘s Brent Maguire and Theo DeRose wrote. “The injury hasn’t derailed a special season for the reigning AL MVP, who leads all qualifying hitters in batting average (.333), on-base percentage (.447), slugging percentage (.687), and WAR (7.4).”

The Yankees superstar is joined by Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs and Fernando Tatís Jr. of the San Diego Padres. Meanwhile, former Yankee Juan Soto was named to the second team of outfielders with the New York Mets.

The other Yankee joining Judge on the All-MLB Team 2025 is Max Fried, though he didn’t crack the Top 5 pitchers, which include Tarik Skubal (Detroit Tigers), Paul Skenes (Pittsburgh Pirates), Garrett Crochet (Boston Red Sox), Cristopher Sánchez (Philadelphia Phillies), and Hunter Brown (Houston Astros).

“Fried has a 3.26 ERA in 25 starts in his first year with the Yankees,” Maguire and DeRosa noted. “It’s been a rough go lately for the lefty, however, as Fried has a 6.80 ERA in eight starts since the beginning of July.”

Players like Jazz Chisholm Jr. and closer David Bednar were considered in the poll but weren’t deemed among the best.

After stringing together four wins, Aaron Boone’s Yankees have gained ground in their battle for the Wild Card, where they now hold the top spot. However, they can’t afford to let their guard down, as any bad streak in this final stretch of the season could leave them out of the postseason.

„Špatné rozhodnutí a ještě horší řešení. Po ubráněném rohu domácí Merchas Doski snadno vymíchal Roka Štormana se Samuelem Šigutem a štrádoval si to do vápna, kde obešel Ayaosiho. Ten mu vytrčil nohu do cesty. […]

Warriors spark LeBron James buzz while navigating tricky offseason

The Golden State Warriors entered the offseason with aspirations of bolstering their roster to extend their championship window. However, their efforts to acquire marquee talents have been met with resistance, and internal contract disputes threaten to derail their plans. The ongoing contract standoff with Jonathan Kuminga has effectively frozen the team's summer plans.Despite the lack of roster activity, speculation has swirled around Golden State and a potential blockbuster trade for Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.
