Ti naopak několik hostujících fanoušků zbili a sebrali jim dresy. Mezi předměty hozenými na trávník byl podle médií i omračující granát.
Řídící orgán jihoamerického fotbalu CONMEBOL uvedl, že zápas byl ukončen kvůli „nedostatku bezpečnostních záruk ze strany domácího klubu a místních bezpečnostních orgánů“. Dál se bude případem zabývat disciplinární komise.
