O Cruzeiro segue na sua busca por uma vaga na final do Brasileirão Feminino, e após superar o Red Bull Bragantino nas quartas de final, encara agora o Palmeiras em duelo equilibrado pelas semifinais.
Uma das equipes mais bem encaixadas em 2025 no futebol feminino nacional, as mineiras fizeram grande campanha na primeira fase, superando as expectativas e finalizando com a primeira colocação geral da competição, com 36 pontos ganhos e apenas uma derrota, que aconteceu quando o clube já estava classificado.
Nas quartas de final, a classificação veio com certa facilidade. A equipe cruzeirense bateu o Red Bull Bragantino por 2 a 0 no placar agregado, e aguarda o confronto contra as palmeirenses na semifinal.
