Walter Casagrande enxerga boas possibilidades de uma nova final entre dois times brasileiros na Libertadores. Com as quartas de final definidas, o comentarista analisou os confrontos envolvendo LDU x São Paulo, Palmeiras x River Plate e Flamengo x Estudiantes. Em sua avaliação, o time comandado por Filipe Luís não deverá ter muito trabalho para eliminar o rival argentino, assim como passeou para superar o Internacional nas oitavas.
Em coluna publicada no UOL, Casão destacou o poderio técnico existente no elenco da equipe carioca que terá pela frente o adversário mais fraco entre todos os classificados. O comentarista, inclusive, prevê um atropelo dos brasileiros.
“É o time que tem o elenco mais forte da América do Sul, está na liderança do Brasileiro e simplesmente amassou o Internacional, chegando com muita moral e confiança. O rubro-negro irá enfrentar o time argentino do Estudiantes de La Plata, que, para mim, é a equipe mais fraca dessas quartas de final e ainda decidirá a vaga no Maracanã. Se conseguir manter o foco apresentado contra o Colorado, irá atropelar os argentinos também”, disse Casagrande.
Casagrande projeta dificuldades para São Paulo e Palmeiras
O São Paulo é favorito na visão de Casagrande, mas passará apuros para superar a tradicional LDU que eliminou o Botafogo. Apesar da evolução da equipe com Hernán Crespo, a altitude de Quito é um aliado forte dos equatorianos.
Em relação ao Palmeiras, o ídolo do Corinthians admitiu ter ficado decepcionado com o fraco futebol apresentado ontem diante do Universitário. Apesar de ter aberto uma larga vantagem no duelo de ida, o colunista esperava a confirmação da superioridade palestrina.
“O time do Abel Ferreira teve tudo na mão para ter dado uma atropelada histórica no Universitário do Peru na última quinta-feira (21) no Allianz, já que tinha goleado em Lima por 4 a 0. A classificação já estava garantida, mas era uma questão de aumentar a confiança e chegar grandão no confronto contra o tradicional e também gigante River Plate”, alertou.
Choque-Rei na Libertadores
Dito isso, Casagrande acredita que tanto São Paulo como Palmeiras irão superar as adversidades contra equatorianos e argentinos. Assim, estarão frente a frente em busca de uma vaga na grande decisão. Da mesma forma, imagina em relação ao Flamengo.
“Não dá para ‘piscar os olhos’ contra o River Plate. Na minha visão, o Flamengo passará tranquilo, mas São Paulo e Palmeiras sofrerão, mas também irão adiante. As semifinais terão um confronto brasileiro entre São Paulo x Palmeiras e Brasil x Argentina entre Flamengo e quem vencer entre Racing e Vélez Sarsfield, que, para mim, dará o Racing.

Denver opened with three scoring possessions behind rookie quarterback Bo Nix, who connected with Courtland Sutton for a touchdown and totaled 110 passing yards before exiting. Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders all handled several drives. And then, ironically enough, roster longshot Tyler Huntley led the team down the field for the game-winning field goal as time expired, securing a 19-17 victory over the Los Angeles Rams to close out the preseason.
