O técnico Rogério Ceni voltou a falar sobre seleção brasileira após o triunfo do Bahia sobre o Santos, neste domingo (24). Carlo Ancelotti esteve na Arena Fonte Nova para observar Jean Lucas e Gabriel Brazão, e foi bem recebido pelo treinador tricolor. Assim, Ceni aproveitou para ‘sugerir’ a convocação de Luciano Juba, lateral-esquerdo que vem se destacando no Brasileirão.

A presença de Carlo Ancelotti na Arena Fonte Nova deixou Rogério Ceni feliz, já que esse é um reconhecimento do seu trabalho no Bahia. Assim, ele comentou sobre o técnico da seleção brasileira e exaltou o italiano.
“Acho que o time estava mais cansado que o normal, é um time que vem se desgastando demais. Mesmo assim, Jean [Lucas] jogou 90 minutos, ficou em campo bem, mostra que é um jogador que tem capacidade, sim, de vestir a camisa da Seleção. Fico feliz por ele e pelos outros que puderam ser vistos por um treinador que é um dos maiores. Isso expõe cada vez mais o trabalho do Bahia, isso valoriza muito o trabalho feito aqui”, disse Rogério Ceni.
Luciano Juba merece convocação?
Para Rogério Ceni, sim. O técnico do Bahia exaltou seu atleta e disse que não posição, de lateral-esquerdo, Luciano Juba é um dos melhores do país. Assim, ‘sugeriu’ que o camisa 46 merecia uma convocação. Na partida contra o Santos, sob olhares de Ancelotti, Luciano Juba fez um golaço.
“Incrível como ele acha energia para jogar, fico feliz por ele estar vivendo esse momento bacana. Ele se tornou um dos melhores na posição que ocupa hoje pelo Bahia. É uma posição que valoriza a qualidade técnica dele, potencializa ele ao máximo que ele pode render para o time e, quem sabe um dia, na seleção”, exaltou Rogério Ceni.
Além disso, Rogério Ceni exaltou a contribuição de Luciano Juba para a boa fase que o Bahia vive em 2025. Lembrando que o Esquadrão é o 4⁰ colocado do Brasileirão, com 36 pontos, e caminha para mais uma temporada histórica. Inclusive, Luciano Juba é o artilheiro do clube no Campeonato Brasileiro, com cinco gols.
“Ele tem muita liberdade para flutuar pelo campo, está sempre na frente da área, fazendo ultrapassagem, construindo jogo por dentro. Hoje ele teve a felicidade. Já tinha chutado em outros jogos, mas não tinha acertado”, explicou Ceni.
