La telenovela del fichaje de Dani Ceballos terminó sin final feliz para el Olympique de Marsella. El club galo, presidido por el español Pablo Longoria, se queda sin un objetivo importante a pocos días del fin del mercado de fichajes incluso después de haber llegado a un acuerdo con el Real Madrid para el traspaso.
Las permanentes dudas del centrocampista frenaron ese acuerdo. Ceballos pidió al OM un día de reflexión para aclarar su futuro, pero la respuesta del club francés fue clara: romper su oferta y retirarse de la puja ante las constantes dudas del futbolista español.
“Situaciones de mercado, todas las cosas que te cambian muy a menudo, así que bueno…”, declaró a El Chiringuito un Pablo Longoria cansado por la hora de la noche y por el trabajo realizado, pero a quien se notaba guardándose detalles de la negociación.
En sus palabras se podía adivinar la decepción de no haber podido hacerse con el centrocampista español: “Estábamos interesados, la verdad, pero bueno… Hay ciertas circunstancias que tú como club no puedes dominar, ¿no?”.
“Y ante todo, como siempre, el Real Madrid es un club señor y siempre se ha comportado bien”, finalizó el presidente del Olympique de Marsella, quien no tenía ganas de dar más detalles, aunque los tenía. “No me aprietes…”, le decía al periodista.
