Diante das contratações que chegaram ao clube carioca recentemente, Caio Ribeiro acredita que Palmeiras e Cruzeiro vão precisar de muito esforço nas rodadas seguintes do segundo turno.
“O Flamengo é o grande favorito pelo elenco que tem. Fez grandes contratações na janela com Jorginho, Samuel Lino, Saúl… É um time muito forte. Eu gosto muito dele. Ele tem ideias diferentes e eu gosto de treinadores que pensam fora da caixinha. Em alguns momentos, ele vai oscilar? É natural, como qualquer jogador em início de carreira, em alguns momentos você não vai concordar com decisões e isso faz parte.”, opinou Caio Ribeiro, no podcast “De Jogador para Jogador”, no YouTube.

Assim como Caio Ribeiro, Matheus Pereira destacou o ótimo desempenho do São Paulo fora de casa. Responsável pelo gol da vitória, em cobrança de falta, o camisa 10 quis enfatizar o desgaste do clássico contra o Atlético-MG, na Copa do Brasil, mas o esforço coletivo garantiu mais três pontos e de quebra, a vice-liderança para o Cruzeiro.
“A gente sabe que as bolas paradas também definem um jogo. Fomos felizes, pude fazer o gol. Feliz pela vitória, pelo trabalho, dedicação. Não foi fácil. Tivemos um jogo muito pesado durante a semana (contra o Atlético-MG), então acho que dentro de tudo isso o time respondeu bem.
