Italy Grand Prix 2025: How to watch this weekend’s F1 race, TV channel, time and more

This Sunday’s Formula 1 Pirelli Gran Premio D’Italia – or the Italy Grand Prix – marks the 16th race of the F1 season. All the action at this year’s Italian race will take place at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, a circuit that locals like to call “La Pista Magica” or the magic track. Located in Monza, just north of Milan, the track is known to be one of the fastest on the F1 schedule, with cars reaching full throttle for 80% of the course.

You can catch this week’s Italian Grand Prix on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. on ESPN2 and F1 TV Pro. This weekend’s practices and qualifying races on Friday and Saturday will air across F1 TV Pro, ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN Deportes. When is the Italy Grand Prix?

The 2025 Italy Grand Prix is on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 9 a.m. ET. You can also tune in to practices and qualifying races on Friday and Saturday.

What channel is the Italy Grand Prix on?

You can tune into Sunday’s race on F1 TV Pro, ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes. Practices and qualifying races will air across F1 TV Pro, ESPNU, ESPN2, and ESPN Deportes.

This season, ESPN+ (now known as ESPN select) will also offer alternate viewing options of the main event, including an Onboard Cameras Channel, which gives fans a look at the race from select drivers’ perspectives, plus a Driver Tracker that plots every driver’s location on the course in real time. For super fans who don’t want to miss a single race, all the action is streamable through an F1 TV Pro subscription.
