O velório de Paulo Soares, segundo publicação nas redes sociais, acontecerá a partir das 13h às 17h, nesta segunda-feira, no Funeral Home, na Bela Vista, Centro de São Paulo.
O apresentador era conhecido pelo carisma, bom humor e pela forma leve com que conduzia as notícias esportivas durante o SportsCenter, da ESPN. Ao lado de Antero Greco, ele formou uma das duplas mais queridas da televisão esportiva brasileira.
Antes da televisão, Amigão construiu sua carreira no rádio, passando por emissoras como Record, Globo e Bandeirantes. Na televisão, ele atuou na Gazeta, Record, Cultura e, desde os anos 1990, na ESPN Brasil, onde se tornou referência para os fãs de esporte.
