Leanna Lenee, wife of Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter, once again celebrated her husband’s success on the field as the team earned a 26-21 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
Her brief but pointed message highlighted the couple’s shared joy during the Jaguars’ winning stretch as Hunter, the 2024 Heisman Trophy winner and one of the NFL‘s most versatile newcomers, made an impression in Week 4 even without scoring a touchdown.
Lenee took to Instagram to post a photo of Hunter‘s acrobatic sideline grab against the 49ers, adding only four words to capture the moment by writing, “& the jags win.”
The post was another example of how she has continued to support and celebrate her husband’s performances since he entered the NFL. Married in May, the couple also welcomed their first child last month, making 2025 both a transformative professional and personal year for Hunter.
On the field, Hunter produced his most effective outing to date as a wide receiver. He caught three of five targets for 42 yards, finishing third among Jacksonville pass catchers in targets and receiving yards.
Though his role leaned more toward offense in this matchup, he still contributed defensively with two tackles.
Through four professional appearances, the two-way player has amassed 76 receiving yards and nine total tackles, including one pass defended as Jaguars coaches continue to balance his unique ability to impact both sides of the ball.
Jacksonville’s victory over San Francisco pushed its record to 3-1, marking the team’s second consecutive win. The Jaguars forced four turnovers, including two interceptions of 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, while also capitalizing with a decisive 17-point second quarter.
The result left both teams tied in the standings with identical 3-1 records and Hunter’s growing offensive usage points toward a deliberate effort by the Jaguars to expand his role.
His versatility offers opportunities to influence games even when he is not finding the end zone directly, which could be key as Jacksonville prepares for a Week 5 clash against the Kansas City Chiefs, the coaching staff will continue to refine his deployment.
Jaguars head coach forced away from Robert Saleh
The victory also carried some tension on the sidelines. After the final whistle, Jaguars head coach Liam Coen was seen exchanging heated words with 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh.
Broadcast cameras captured Coen being restrained while appearing to shout in Saleh‘s direction in a dispute that may have from Saleh’s comments earlier in the week, when he addressed Jacksonville’s reputation for reading opponents’ signals.
“They’ve got legally, a really advanced signal-stealing type system where they always find a way to put themselves in an advantageous situation,” Saleh said. “They do a great job with it.
“They formation you to just try to find any nugget they can. So, we’ve got to be great with our signals and we’ve got to be great with our communication to combat some of the tells that we might give on the field.
“They’re almost elite in that regard.”
