Teure Spieler weg, preiswerte Spieler rein.

Darnold led Seattle on five straight touchdown drives, including a […]

Tensions rise in the WNBA as Napheesa Collier, Caitlin Clark, and Cathy Engelbert clash over leadership

The WNBA has seen its fair share of disputes, but recent tensions between star forward Napheesa Collier and Commissioner Cathy Engelbert may represent a pivotal moment in the league's evolution. Collier, Vice President of the WNBPA Executive Committee, didn't hold back in her postseason exit interview, accusing Engelbert of tone-deaf leadership and alleging behind-the-scenes comments that have ignited league-wide controversy.Engelbert's alleged "be grateful" remark sparks outrageCollier claimed Engelbert had said Caitlin Clark should be "grateful" for earning millions in endorsements, crediting the WNBA for giving her a platform. If true, the comment would suggest a dismissive view of Clark's individual marketability and a broader lack of appreciation for the athletes driving the league's current success. Engelbert has denied making such a statement, calling Collier's claims inaccurate in a press conference before the WNBA Finals. What followed has only deepened the divide. […]

Jacory ‘Bill’ Croskey-Merritt Runs Away With LFG Player of the Game vs. Chargers

Jacory Croskey-Merritt had a big day in the Washington Commanders' 27-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, but he's remaining humble amid his breakout. The Commanders' rookie running back took home Tom Brady's LFG Player of the Game with his 111-yard rushing performance on Sunday, adding multiple touchdowns in Washington's victory. Croskey-Merritt was also efficient with his carries, going for 7.9 yards per pop and adding 39 receiving yards. As Croskey-Merritt had nearly 10 yards per touch on Sunday, it might seem hard to believe that he was just a seventh-round rookie looking to make the Commanders' roster just a couple of months ago. But Croskey-Merritt is crediting those around him for setting him up for success so early in his NFL career."It feels amazing," Croskey-Merritt told Brady of his performance on Sunday.
