El Bayern de Múnich solventó su visita a Chipre con una cómoda victoria ante el Pafos por 1-5. Llegaban los bávaros como los claros favoritos para conseguir los tres puntos y evidenciaron el por qué. Ninguna opción le dio a un rival que al descanso ya iba tres goles abajo en el marcador, en la primera vez en la que ambos conjuntos se veían la cara.

Gol de Guerreiro (0-2) en el Pafos 1-5 Bayern

Empezó el partido con un ritmo no muy alto, pero con el Bayern dominando la posesión. El primero en intentarlo fue el Pafos con un remate elevado. A partir de ahí, los bávaros empezaron a crear peligro. Luis Díaz probó en dos ocasiones a Michail, pero la más clara la tuvo Kane. Su remate de semichilena, en el segundo palo tras el centro desde la esquina, se estrelló en el palo. Primer aviso del inglés que no tardaría en faltar a su cita con el gol.

En el minuto 15, tras una falta lateral despejada por el Pafos, Olise recibió en banda, filtró el balón interior del área para Kane y este batió al portero con un disparo cruzado. Quién sino para adelantar a los suyos.  

El gol no frenó al Bayern que siguió con el pie en el acelerador. Tan solo cinco minutos después, los alemanes trenzaron una jugada preciosa que acabó subiendo el segundo tanto al electrónico. Olise cedió para Guerreiro que tiró una pared con Jackson y el portugués definió a la perfección ante el guardameta.

Jackson y Kane ampliaron el resultado antes del final de la primera mitad. Olise, muy participativo, bailó a su par, cedió al corazón del área y el senegalés la mandó a guardar en el 31′. Tres minutos más tarde, Kane, con suerte tras llevarse el balón después de una sucesión de rebotes, marcó el cuarto y dejaba el partido visto para sentencia. O eso pensaba él porque el Pafos no había dicho su última palabra.

Cuando el primer acto agonizaba, Orsic robó un balón que le regaló la defensa del Bayern tras una mala salida de balón, levantó la cabeza, miró portería y, sin dudarlo, la clavó en la escuadra ante la atónita mirada de Neuer. Con el 1-4 se llegó al descanso. 

Tras la reanudación lo intentó el Pafos, pero sin éxito. El gol les sentó bien y el descanso, también. En apenas 10 minutos ya habían acumulado más llegadas que en toda la primera mitad. No obstante, no tuvieron lacalidad suficiente como para encontrar el premio del gol.

Quitó Kompany a Kane para darle descanso ante la plácida victoria que estaban consiguiendo los bávaros. Sin embargo, quedó claro que, por mucho que el inglés sea la mayor ‘amenaza’ de los alemanes, no es la única. Jackson se quedó solo contra Michail, pero el portero salvó a su equipo. En el rebote, Olise, no perdonó y redondeó su gran partido.

Antes de que se marcase el descuento de la segunda mitad, Gnabry, primero, y, después, Jackson le dieron al palo. En hasta tres ocasiones durante todo el choque se encontró el Bayern con la madera que le negaron la posibilidad de ampliar todavía más su ventaja. 

Con esta victoria, el Bayern, a falta de que se complete el resto de la jornada, se sitúa líder gracias a la diferencia de goles.
