La Champions League sigue su curso y los equipos ya conocen cual es su situación en la tabla tras el término de la segunda jornada. Cada punto cuenta y es de vital importancia como ya vimos en la ajustada clasificación de la temporada pasada tras el estreno del nuevo formato.

Los 36 equipos saben de lo difícil que es meterse entre los 16 mejores equipos de Europa y no regalarán nada, aunque algunos de los grandes han empezado a dejarse puntos en estas primeras fechas.

Como tras la primera jornada, pretender decir que así es como quedarán los cruces con una única jornada disputada es pura ficción. Pero escribimos estas líneas para recordar cómo es el formato, cómo se realizan los cruces una vez completa la clasificación y para ir colocando a los clubes en las casillas que ocuparán a final de la fase liga.

Teniendo en cuenta esto, así sería ahora mismo los cruces en los playoffs o dieciseisavos de final o repesca de octavos de la Champions League, como prefiera el lector:

  • 11º/12º vs 21º/22º – Newcastle / Marsella vs Galatasaray / Atalanta
