Creating realistic trade offers that lead to a deal being accepted is always challenging. Throughout the season, Justin Boone will be publishing his rest-of-season trade value charts, which you can use as a guide to help make moves and manage your roster. He’ll also highlight some of the players you should be buying or selling each week.

Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals — Buying into the Joe Burrow-less Bengals’ offense might seem like insanity after the last two weeks with Jake Browning under center. But Chase is the one player in this attack whom I’m willing to make a deal to acquire based on how low the public perception has fallen after he failed to top 50 yards in two consecutive outings. While Cincinnati isn’t the same team without Burrow, we should account for their opponents the last two weeks being the Vikings and Broncos, who are two of the five toughest defenses for fantasy receivers and quarterbacks. Chase should have a little more breathing room against the Lions, before his schedule softens up considerably from Week 7 on. Expectations still need to be adjusted, but if you can acquire Chase for WR2 value, it’s worth the risk.

Sell

A.J. Brown, Eagles — The Eagles have thrown 24 pass attempts or less in three of their four games this season. Consequently, Brown has been held under 30 receiving yards in those contests. That’s the concern here. It’s not Brown’s talent dropping off, because we saw him go off against the Rams in Week 3. This is simply a volume issue, which will lead to a lack of motivation for Brown if he’s not getting the ball enough. The problem is that Philly is winning with this brand of football and doesn’t need to change anything. That’s why I’ve changed my approach on Brown and moved him down into the low-end WR2 range for the rest of the season. He’s going to be very boom or bust, with many more down weeks on the way.

Curt Cignetti Dreamed Bigger — Now Indiana Football Is Living It

EUGENE, Ore. — When it finally ended — when the meaningless heave from Oregon quarterback Dante Moore rattled between bodies and dropped to the Autzen Stadium turf — wave upon wave of deliriously defiant Hoosiers raced toward the west end zone, toward a mob of ebullient Indiana fans that had flown across the country and were now inching ever closer to the front row, encroaching on territory long ago vacated by dejected Ducks supporters. Some of Indiana’s players promptly hoisted themselves atop the railing like a modified Lambeau Leap. Others raised their hands and pointed at familiar faces in the stands. Everyone sang, clapped and danced as the fight song blared. Dodgers, Brewers clash in rematch of 2018 NL Championship Series: Key matchups, prediction

By: Fabian Ardaya, Andy McCullough and Eno SarrisIt will be the self-described “Average Joes” against the team with the richest payroll in the history of the sport for the National League pennant, as the Milwaukee Brewers will look to unseat the reigning World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers in a rematch of the 2018 National League Championship Series. It was the Brewers who finished with the best record in the National League this summer, with their particular dominance over the Dodgers perhaps serving as the difference between these two sides — the Brewers went 6-0 and frustrated the Dodgers en route to finishing with four more regular-season wins.AdvertisementThe Brewers will battle an attempt at history. Misery Index: Florida State is underachieving under Mike Norvell for one simple reason

The rise of Florida State as a national power under Bobby Bowden did not rely on a complicated formula. It was, quite simply, one of the most relentless recruiting machines college football has ever seen, leveraging FSU’s location near talent hotbeds in Florida and Georgia while building an environment where iconoclast personalities could thrive and be themselves. In many ways, Jimbo Fisher repeated that feat in 2013 when the Seminoles returned to national championship glory, assembling one of the most talented rosters in recent college football history.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementWhile success in this sport always correlates with talent to some degree, there are realistically only 10 to 15 programs that can recruit at a truly elite level because of their natural advantages.Florida State is one of those jobs. Belief is in short supply at Auburn, and the Tigers are suffering as a result

AUBURN, Ala. — Even Cam Newton, perhaps the greatest college football player ever, has his limits. Back in town on the occasion of his jersey retirement, Newton spent most of Saturday night’s game against Georgia stalking the sidelines of Jordan-Hare Stadium. Megaphone in hand, Newton exhorted the crowd, berated the refs, did all he possibly could to fire up the Auburn Tigers. You got the sense that Newton — who won both a Heisman and a national championship in one single, glorious year at Auburn — would have given a whole lot to suit up for one more game. And a whole lot of the sellout crowd at Jordan-Hare would have given up a whole lot themselves to see the current model of the Tigers show even a fraction of the fire that Newton brought to this stadium in 2010. Cooper Flagg calls Kon Knueppel a ‘friend for life’ after first meeting as NBA opponents

After the Mavericks made it official, he did an interview with NBA TV to talk about his fit with his new team.AdvertisementFlagg answered questions matter-of-factly until he heard over the loudspeaker that the Charlotte Hornets had drafted Kon Knueppel — Flagg’s college teammate at Duke — with the No. 4 pick. That news caused Flagg to be as animated as he was all evening. Saturday, Flagg and Knueppel faced each other for the first time as NBA players.
