Flaco-Roque decide e Palmeiras atropela Vasco por 3 a 0 no Brasileirão

Com o resultado, o Palmeiras chega aos 52 pontos, assume a vice-liderança e ultrapassa o Cruzeiro, que estaciona nos 51. Já o Vasco, com 30 pontos, permanece na 12ª colocação, distante da zona de rebaixamento, mas sem conseguir se firmar no meio da tabela.

Primeira etapa dominada pelo Verdão

O jogo começou equilibrado, com o Palmeiras estudando a equipe vascaína e valorizando a posse de bola. No entanto, bastou uma falha defensiva do time visitante para os donos da casa abrirem o placar logo aos seis minutos. 

Raphael Veiga tentou acelerar pelo meio, a bola desviou no passe e sobrou para Flaco López. O argentino mostrou faro de gol, ganhou a disputa contra Robert Renan e finalizou com categoria, de canhota, para superar Léo Jardim: 1 a 0.

O Vasco tentou responder rapidamente e chegou a criar uma boa chance com o jovem Rayan. Após bela tabela com Vegetti, ele invadiu a área, mas foi atrapalhado por Piquerez no momento da finalização, dando tempo para Weverton fechar o ângulo e evitar o empate.

O Cruz-Maltino ainda assustou em jogada aérea, quando Paulo Henrique cruzou pela direita e Vegetti desviou de cabeça, mandando a bola rente à trave. Mas a noite era mesmo do Palmeiras, especialmente de Flaco López.

Aos 18 minutos, em mais uma jogada construída pela pressão no campo adversário, Piquerez recuperou a bola e cruzou da esquerda. Hugo Moura tentou cortar, mas rebateu mal. A bola sobrou limpa para López, que novamente não desperdiçou: 2 a 0 para o Verdão.

E se a situação já parecia complicada para o Vasco, ficou praticamente irreversível aos 24 minutos. Aproveitando mais um buraco nas costas da defesa vascaína, Flaco López fez um lindo passe em profundidade para Vitor Roque. O atacante ganhou na velocidade, se livrou da marcação e tocou com tranquilidade na saída de Léo Jardim: 3 a 0.

Vasco não reage e Palmeiras administra

Com a larga vantagem construída ainda no primeiro tempo, o Palmeiras controlou a partida na etapa complementar. O Vasco até teve mais posse de bola, mas pecava na criação e na tomada de decisão. O Verdão, por sua vez, explorava os espaços em contra-ataques rápidos, principalmente com a dupla ofensiva.

Aos 15 minutos, Flaco López voltou a aparecer como garçom. O argentino recebeu pela direita e cruzou para Vitor Roque, que bateu firme, mas parou em grande defesa de Léo Jardim. O lance foi um dos raros momentos em que o Palmeiras acelerou com mais intensidade na segunda metade do jogo.

Do lado do Vasco, Andrés Gómez chegou a ter uma boa chance, mas parou em Weverton. Vegetti, principal referência ofensiva, pouco participou após ser bem marcado por Murilo e Gustavo Gómez, e acabou substituído.

O ritmo caiu bastante à medida que Abel Ferreira promoveu alterações, dando descanso aos principais nomes do ataque. O técnico, visivelmente satisfeito, aproveitou a vantagem para rodar o elenco. Antes de deixar o campo, Vitor Roque ainda teve um gol anulado por impedimento milimétrico.

Números que mostram a superioridade

Os números finais da partida refletem bem a superioridade alviverde. O Palmeiras finalizou 11 vezes, sendo seis no alvo, enquanto o Vasco, mesmo com mais posse de bola, criou apenas nove oportunidades, com três delas indo na direção do gol. No quesito “gols esperados” (xG), o Verdão registrou 2,76 contra apenas 0,81 dos visitantes.

Próximos desafios

Com a vitória, o Palmeiras mantém a pressão sobre o Flamengo, que lidera com 54 pontos. O próximo compromisso do Verdão será contra o Bahia, fora de casa, em confronto direto por G-4. Já o Vasco, que ainda luta para se afastar de vez da zona de risco, enfrentará o Grêmio em São Januário.
