Florencie (Od našeho zpravodaje) – Domácí gólman De Gea vyfasoval žlutou kartu za zdržování při odkopu. Piccoliho, vyčerpaného autora první čtvrteční trefy, chytaly křeče. A z hlavní tribuny byl slyšet rozpačitý šum. Sigma nedrtila soupeře, nevypracovala si vyložené tutovky, ale k úspěchu ji dlouho scházela jedna povedená střela.
Italští favorité si představovali rozhodně jiný a poklidnější scénář. Fiorentina ale nakonec proti českému outsiderovi zvítězila, když perfektní trefou v nastavení upravil na konečných 2:0 domácí Cher Ndour. Pro známou italskou značku se jedná o první soutěžní výhru od konce srpna.
Bez jediného třicátníka, ale taky bez přehnaného respektu a strachu se Sigma pustila do pohárového dobrodružství. První zákrok si připsal brankář Koutný po slabé Džekově hlavičce, ale víc na pozoru se musel mít domácí De Gea. Tkáčovu ránu zpoza vápna vyrážel a když vedle jeho brány po dobré olomoucké pasáži proletěl nepřesný pokus kapitána Slámy, ozýval se po dvaceti minutách z hlavní tribuny poprvé nesmělý pískot.
Domácí ale potrestali první taktické zaváhání hostů. Stoper Sylla špatně vystoupil. Vznikla za ním mezera, do níž naběhl si Roberto Piccoli. Sám před Koutným si věděl rady a poslal italského favorita do vedení.
Piccoliho náběhy dál dělaly problémy, ve vzdušných soubojích vládl další domácí útočník Džeko. I v poli naráželi olomoučtí snaživci na kvalitu, na kterou z domácí soutěže nejsou zvyklí.

Ve 33. minutě překvapil Koutného technickým pokusem Ranieri. Míč břinkl o břevno, síť rozvlnil dorážející Dodo, ale nacházel se v ofsajdu. Kliku měla Sigma i o pár chvil, když po otočce z prostoru penalty zakončoval Ndour, ale jeho střela letěla těsně vedle. Aktivita Sigmy vadla, ale do půle udržela hratelné skóre.
Po změně stran po Džekově ztrátě pálil z hranice vápna záložník Kostadinov, ale De Gea opět zasahoval. Důraz, pohyb a dotěrnost představovaly důvody, proč Fiorentina nemohla zůstat zcela v klidu.
Po 70 minutách nebezpečně střílel po další domácí chybě v rozehrávce Ghali, brankář Fiorentiny si zapsal další dobrý zákrok. Sigma se prezentovala sympaticky, ale zároveň dokazovala, proč v aktuální sezoně představuje její největší potíž střílení gólů. Při absenci zraněného kanonýra Vašulína se problém jen násobil.
Ztrácející hosté si v závěru nevypracovali nápor ani kloudnou šanci. Naopak v nastavení ještě inkasovali podruhé.
Sigmu v základní skupině Konferenční ligy čeká ještě pět vystoupení. Nejbližší bude za tři týdny doma s polským Rakówem, který bude pro postupové plány daleko podstatnější než start s italským favoritem.
Sigma proti němu obstála. Obnovenou premiéru v hlavní fázi evropských pohárů zvládla se ctí, ale hráči i tři stovky olomouckých fanoušků odjíždějí bez bodového nákladu.
