Cítil jste, že jste narazili na soupeře, kterému to drhne?
Cítil. Nejen já, ale i všichni na střídačce a na hřišti. Dokázali jsme být důstojným soupeřem Fiorentiny, nedovolili jsme jí kombinační hru a nedostala se na dostřel brány. Byli jsme vysoko, znervózněli jsme ji a rozbourávali akce hned v zárodku. Dokázali jsme být velice kvalitní, proto jsme dlouho žili a bojovali o dobrý výsledek. Často jsme dostali Fiorentinu i do nekomfortních situací, odkopávali to kolikrát nazdařbůh. Samozřejmě se za naši obranu párkrát dostali, ale předvedli jsme dobrý výkon.
Budete vyčítat stoperovi Syllovi první gól? Špatně vystoupil a Piccoli rozhodl.
Máte pravdu. Nešťastně se to odrazilo, Sylla udělal nakročení směrem dopředu a pak mu chyběl čas, aby balon zachytil nebo zakřižoval útočníka. Soupeř nejvíc hrozil z náběhové činnosti Picolliho, hrál si dobře s ofsajdovou linií.
Třetí duel v Evropě, potřetí bez gólu. Chybí Sigmě gólový útočník?
Je to náš nejpalčivější post. Opakuju, že jak hraje útočník, tak se daří celému týmu. Potřebujeme vepředu uhrávat víc míčů, na tuhle pozici je použitelný momentálně Mikulenka a Tijani. S nimi musíme pracovat, dokud se neuzdraví nebo nedotrénují další hráči. Museli jsme dopředu počítat, že naši ofenzivní hráči to budou mít složité. Jejich urostlí obránci hráli do těla. Vítězit v soubojích nebylo jednoduché, když Matěj Mikulenka není žádné hovado. Musel si hledat prostor mezi řadami, hrál si s náběhy, dělal vývrtky. Pral se s tím statečně. Potřebujeme, aby útočník ale byl víc cítit.
Nedotrénovaný hráč. Máte na mysli novou akvizici Mohameda Jásira?
Tenhle týden jsme mu připravili individuální kondiční program a věřím, že po reprezentační pauze by mohl být připravneý. Je to nástřel, ale tři týdny by mu mohly pomoct, aby mohl odehrát část zápasu.

Taktický záměr. Zohledňuje, že nás čeká důležitý ligový zápas v neděli proti Jablonci.
Co vám Fiorentina naznačila v boji o postup do další fáze Konferenční ligy?
Naším cílem je umístění v prvních dvou třetinách tabulky, což by nám zajišťovalo posun do jarních zápasů a play off. Je na nás, kolik si uhrajeme bodů. Kluci si dokázali, čeho jsme schopní. Je to dobrý odrazový můstek před dalšími zápasy, kde se bude lámat chleba. Perfektní zkušenost, kterou zúročíme. Postup v našich schopnostech je.

Two days after a preseason matchup between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Florida Panthers turned into a bloodbath, the NHL has handed down some consequences.
